When I received the lamp there was a small flaw which I didn't consider bad enough to return. I did write a review and the seller emailed me requesting that I remove my neutral review and give them a chance to make it right with not hassle on my part. I did as they requested and I received another lamp without having to return the first one.

I like my monkey lamp. It's a neat looking night light / accent lamp for what I paid.

However, the shade is NOT made of glass as advertised - It's plastic. The base also seems to be a high density synthetic product (alabasterite, kind of like the stuff aquarium deccorations are made from). But the only way you can tell this is by close inspection - it looks like a nice little glass and metal lamp to anyone who walks in the room.

I think it is perfect for the corner of my desk. I love the monkeys. So cool

Monkey palm lamps are great addition if your looking for lamps to accent an area. They are perfect for my fireplace mantle and can be used for large windowsill ! The palm leaf shade was even better than expected with greens and outer edges in amber. It has a 15 watt light bulb max but looks best with a soft white 7 watt bulb.
These lamps are good enough to look like they came from Tiffany stained glass lamps. The lamp shade is made of a resin rather than glass. When lit from afar or not lit , it still looks like its made of real glass!

This lamp is very cute! It gives off a nice soft light. I was concerned when it arrived because the box was damaged. Luckily, the lamp was fine. I would definitely suggest a stronger box. The cardboard was very weak and light.

I was excited about this lamp thinking it was the perfect accent lamp for my bar cabinet. However, upon opening the box it was immediately apparent that the lamp shade was badly damaged and had several cracks in it. The box it was came in clearly was not packed securely nor was the lampshade itself protected with anything other than a plastic bag. As this is a thin resin type material it would definitely need to be wrapped securely for shipping. Unfortunately, I did not have the option to request a replacement and could only get a refund. I m very disapointed that I cannot get a replacement without placing a whole new order.
