5.0 out of 5 stars As advertised...
This is easily the best case I've ever had for any phone. If you carry your phone in your pocket, you will want to take it out occasionally and wipe down the phone and inside of the case as lint/debris from yur pocket can creep it's way in. A small sacrafice for the ultimate protection from clumsiness. The belt clip works great though I rarely use it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it.
It always amazes me that OEM accessories are so inferior. This is a perfect example. While it is a good design in theory, it is poorly executed. The air case itself is very flimsy, and actually left scratches on my previously unblemished Treo 680. The holster is a piece of junk too. I will use this until it falls completely apart (which I'm sure won't be long), and then I...

I will use this until it falls completely apart (which I'm sure won't be long), and then I buy what I should of to begin with. A Seidio rubberized holster. Stay away from this GENUINE Palm accessory, it isn't worth $2.00, let alone $20.00.

Very functional case & holster for the Palm Treo. The clear case does make the Treo a bit bulkier, but then again it wasn't the slimest smart phone to start with.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than anything else I've found, March 30, 2009

I don't really care for the case because junk gets up underneath it and becomes hard to clean. To some extent, the paint on your phone will wear from the case rubbing against it, but not nearly as bad as a totally unprotected phone. Another draw-back of the case is that it slightly (in my opinion) dampens the vibration. Sometimes the phone has trouble getting my attention when in silence mode, a problem which is less noticeable without the case on.

All that being said, I have tried several other "snap-in" cases, all of which were more expensive than this one, and found myself coming back to this Palm Air Case. It's not my favorite, but it's the best I've been able to find.

PROS:

Phone snaps in face-first (not face exposed as picture shows), to protect screen and accidental key punch.

Phone snaps in and out easily, yet is held adequately securely.

Protective case provides some phone protection.

All phone ports and buttons are easily accessed (except battery, of course)

Fairly slim design keeps phone from catching on everything.

CONS:

Case collects grime under it, and is a little difficult to clean.

Case seems to dampen vibration a bit.

Resetting phone is cumbersome since case must be removed.

First case broke when I caught it on a doorway (pretty forcefully though).

2.0 out of 5 stars works well... until it breaks, March 15, 2009
This review is from: Palm Air Casewith Holster for Palm Treo 680, 750, 755 (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I'm in the market for a new case after my second try with this one also ended in failure. This time the belt clip broke off the holster. First time, the prongs snapped off the holster.

It gets its 2 stars for design -- if they could make the same thing, only sturdier, I'd gladly buy it again. The combination of hard case and easy-access holster is great, but I'm tired of giving Palm my money for something so shoddy. And don't bother trying to get a refund or replacement from them. You can try phone, email, customer service chat, doesn't matter -- you'll just get the runaround. Even if you buy it directly from them, unless it breaks within 30 days (lousy as this is, it lasts a bit longer than that) you're SOL.

3.0 out of 5 stars Two Handed Operation, January 13, 2008

If you are looking for protection and security for your Palm device, this is the case for you.

The Palm gets encased in a clear, plastic shell (the air case) and then it can be snapped into the holder. The holder is nice, in that it moves. That way, you can have your Palm horizontal or vertical. It also comes with an anti-glare shield for the face of the Palm.

However, you will need to practice removing the Palm from the belt clip. It seems as though it is a two-handed operation. But, your Palm will not fall out of the belt clip. For a case, this is a very secure one.

Because the Palm was difficult, for me, to remove from the belt clip, I use this as a backup case.
