This is the "correct" charger cable for a Palm Pre. It fits perfectly in the Touchstone charging base.

One note, Amazon shows this as 25 feet long. It's not. It's 2.5 feet long.

I was looking for a shorter USB cable for my Palm Pre, so that I could plug it into my car's USB port to charge the phone and use it to play music through my car. I didn't want to have to hide 5ft of cables in my center console (which is the size of the original cable). I found this item on the Palm website and typed in the item number into Amazon's website (hoping to get a better deal). This item came up with the same item number, but it says 25 ft and for the Treo Pro. The cable is in fact only 2.5 ft (not 25 ft) and it comes in original Palm packaging that says it's for the Pre, Pixi, and Treo Pro. I tried it out on my son's Pixi and my Pre. Everything works great, and the length is much easier to hide in my car's center console.

This is a great USB charge/sync cable for the Palm Treo Pro. Just a note, this cable is shorter than the standard cable that is packaged with the Palm Treo Pro phone. It is only 2.5 feet. The original cable that came with my phone was about 5 feet long. This is great for situations when you don't need a long cable.

I got this after figuring out that Touchstone requires 1AMP... I got a generic, cheaper USB 2.0 cable and couldn't charge my HP Veer. It would just give me constant "charging" on/off... and just end up not charging and killing the battery. Learned this hard way.

This product is perfect for replacing or using as an extra one in addition to the one you should have got with your original palm pro. Its half the length of the original so if you want a longer one keep searching. However for just hooking it up to your computer (which I do) it's perfect
