Product Description

Give your ceiling fan a new look with these palm leaf-shaped ceiling fan blade covers, which also increase air flow. No need to spend hundreds of dollars for a new ceiling fan - just slide these decorative palm "fronds" over the blades of your existing ceiling-fan to instantly create an updated style. Unlike traditional arrow blades, these fan blades are flat and wide so they force air outward. You'll notice better air distribution throughout the room without a strong downward flow. Installation is easy: just slip a cover over each blade and tighten. Palms come as a set of 5; will fit blades up to 6" wide. Crafted of ABS Resin (a fibergalss, plastic, and resin hybrid). Available in your choice of Ivory (#10901), Sand (#10902) or Burl (#10903) Each ceiling-fan blade cover measures 15" W x 23" L. I changed my bedroom furniture to a walnut colored wood and thought this would be an easy way to change my white fan to blend with the room. Two fan blades were damaged but I put the others up anyway to see how they would look. It looks cheap in person. Buy a new fan instead, you may pay less than these covers cost.

The quality of these plastic fan blades is terrible. They are CHEAP plastic and came in broken in several places even though the box was marked fragile. I am initiating the return process. WAY overpriced.

They sent me the wrong COLOR of the item I ordered -- took many phone calls to get them to pick it up & I probably lost my amazon coupon I had received -- plus watch them charge me for the return shipping! Not a professional or organized company -- but I intend to follow this transaction out of principle --

Made of plastic, including the brackets. Designed to slide over existing fan blades, into brackets on the back of the covers. The plastic brackets bend when the screw is put through, as such no pressure is put on the existing fan blades. When the fan is turned on the covers slide off.
The only way to hold them in place is to put holes in the original blades where the screw will be. Even then I don't think the fan will work properly. The covers are bowl shaped, which would result in just as much suction as there is air to pushed up or down, so no air flow at all.
The only positive, is they look good.
