I made the mistake of ordering these for my 72 and they fit in the hole, but stick out an extra 1/4" or more. the correct number for the 71 (probably 72 as well) is B000096JZO

The editorial review states that this item is compatible with Palm Zire 71. This is not the case. The stylus is the wrong size.
