An excellent bundle,
This review is from: Palm TX Handheld with Hard Case (Office Product)
This item bundles the two essential items you need immediately with your new Palm: screen protectors (3) and a sturdy highly protective case. The well designed case is lightweight, sleek and slim, and is made specifically for the TX. This case is easy to slide into your pant/jacket pocket, it will hold two memory cards, provides high protection from spills (it completely encloses the Palm), and unlike many other hard cases, the lid swings a full 360 around to the backside so you can hold the palm as if it were not in case at all!! The Palm swings on a hinge to allow you to plug things in while the TX is still attached to the hinge.

Outstanding product. If you are considering purchasing the Palm TX, this product is precisely that but accompanied by a metal case for the handheld. For the same price as the Palm TX alone, you get the case free. If you prefer, buy the Palm TX and spend an additional $40 for the case.
This is a well kept secret, and a real buy. For some reason, I could find no mention of this combination package on the Palm website nor amy indication that it is available anywhere except through Amazon. Even on their site I only found it in looking for accessories.

I'm a long-time Palm user with limited money to spend tech-toys, so I have to make my investments count. Most recently, I had a Palm Zire 72 that I have absolutely worn out. Awesome machine that I needed to replace.
I purchased the Palm TX after much thought and review. I find it as easy as my Zire was with some neat enhancements and great tools -- and some odd hitches. First off: WiFi. Easy to connect, easy to use, smooth and fast. Blazer is a dream and the combination make it my favorite way to browse Bloglines. The switchable views, landscape to portrait and back, smooth and nice. Combined with my Palm Keyboard, I have a useful writing platform for just about any situation. I know the Palm OS is old, but this did have some nice improvements over my three-year-old Zire: I like that I can click and hold the "Home" Button to instantly switch between applications, without having to go through the "Applications" menu. What I don't like: Versa Mail. I cannot get it to work to save my life, and Palm has been little help. I've given up for the moment and use Blazer and Gmail for my emailing needs. I don't like that Blazer does not support uploads, which is an issue for me. I also don't like that two security upgrades were not installed on the system when I unboxed. I have yet to install the second -- which cost $5, by the way -- because it requires a full reset and I will have to reset my preferences and third party applications by hand. Both security upgrades should have been part of the ROM from the very beginning. All in all, however, quite pleased with this.
