Palm Treo 600/650 Premium Side Case

I bought this case immediately after buying my treo 650. It's a little bulky -- and takes some space under your jacket, but it holds the treo nicely, and looks good. I was dumb enough to buy it at a store for thirty bucks, so at the current amazon price, it's a great deal.

This is a nice for my Treo 650. I like the security of the snap closure. I had looked at a case that closed magnetically, but I'm glad that I went with this case. The belt clip is very secure. It is not a plastice sliding clip like many cases have.

There is one thing to be cautious of if you are using a 650. It seems that the case was designed for the 600, and the opeing for the headset plug does not line up properly on my 650. I use bluetooth so that isn't really an issue for me, but you may want to take this into consideration if you planned on using the case with a wired headset.

Have had other case/holsters for the Treo 650. Others let the phone slip out. This does not. Note, the belt clip does not rotate.

I have used this case for a couple of months now. It works just like you'd expect, holds the Treo securly and protects it if dropped. The case also looks very nice so you can wear it on your belt with a suit or with a pair of jeans. Good buy.

I'm embarrassed to say that I've now tried three different cases for my Treo. The metal one is bullet-proof and fits the unit perfectly, but swings too much and hangs downward so that when you sit down it pokes into your leg. The other leather one also hangs down, and the Treo really needs to sit sideways for me to be comfortable because of its big size. This case is sturdy, the leather is very thick, it fits the unit perfectly, it's very light, it's barely bigger than the Treo, and most importantly, it hangs securely sideways. The side buttons and earpiece hole are exposed, but the rest of it is very secure. Best of all, unlike all the other cases, the Treo faces your body, so the antenna faces in (presuming you wear it on the left) and doesn't graze your left arm when you walk. All in all, the least obtrusive and most comfortable case of all, IMHO.

This is a pretty good carrying case for the Treo. However, there are some flaws with the design. Removing the phone from the case causes me to hit the side buttons and turn the phone on before I can read the caller id. I also wish there was an ability to swivel because it gets uncomfortable when you are driving it.

I purchased this case to carry my Treo 600 when I was not carrying a bag or briefcase. I already found the Treo to be too large to comfortably carry in a pocket. This case does give fairly easy access to the phone and is well built. However, it creates a large package to attach to one's belt or waist. If you don't mind the "gunslinger" look this case may meet your needs. If you want something a little more compact, look for something else.

This case looked good and seemed like a good buy until I realized that putting the phone in and out of the case turns the ringer off on the phone. You have to take the phone out of the case to answer it or to use it, so you end up taking the phone in and out of the case constantly. After I missed a few calls, I realized that taking the phone out of the case accidentally turns the ringer off because the case is so snug. Often, I forget to check the ringer and miss calls. Now, I basically don't use this case even though I have had it for less than a month. Buy one of the form-fitted cases instead.

This is the third case I tried for my Treo 650, and it's simplicity is it's key to success. My first case had a flapping piece of leather that cost $35 and was totally useless. My second "skin" had a belt clip that whenever I bent over (to tie my shoes, for example) the phone would disengage from the clip and fall on the floor! Simply bad design.

This well designed Premium Side Case is easy to use, easy to wear and gives excellent protection. When the phone is in vibrate mode, you are always aware when you get a call, page or email. It's small enough that it's not a problem when worn with a suit, and sits in the right place when driving with a seat belt. Good design is always fashionable and the case is well made. I wish it came in brown, I'd buy a second!

So if you're looking for the right case... this is it. You will not be disappointed.

The belt clip is very secure and the Treo is easy to get in and out of the case, even with the buckling strap. The case is very protective but the bulk of the thick leather is too much for me. I'm looking to get the thinner plastic belt clip that one of my coworkers has. It's much easier to wear.
