Takes a lickin'...,

With the world getting more and more connected, and everyone buying PDAs and their accessories, it's important to most of us (the smart ones) to protect our investments as much as we can. I bought a PalmIIIe a while back, and wanted (needed) to get some sort of case that would be practical and protective. Well, I have the "leather belt clip holder" and thought I'd get the PalmGlove case for when I was out with friends or being "active". I had planned on using the belt clip case while I was working for a "proffessional" look, but it turns out I don't use the leather one any more at all! This PalmGlove case is durable, (It looks great even though I've had it for a few months of constant use) it protects (I dropped the Palm on the ground once and it didn't feel it) and it has even taken the place of my wallet (the pockets on the inside hold all that I need). Even at work, this case feels and looks VERY nice and people have complimented me on the case alone. However, be forwarned, I found it necessary to keep the plastic cover of the Palm attached as the case's inside window pocket kept turning on the device while the case was closed. No big deal, though, for me, because I'm not bothered by the fact that along with opening the case I have to (oh no!) flip the cover up as well. I'm not that lazy. One more thing. In order to keep the Palm in the case while it's open, you have to attach some strong Velcro strips across the back of your PDA. These strips are included and I only needed to use one of them, but if you are the type of person that is fearful of depreciating the value of their Palm with some "sticky-velcro-tape", I'd advise against the PalmGlove. But if you DO decide to buy this case and then, down the road get another one, taking off the sticky residue that I can only assume will remain, shouldn't be too hard if carefully done with some cleaner and a small rag. This case is the best one that I have come across and considering I work in the "Internet Field" and I see A LOT of PDAs and their cases, the PalmGlove should be the case for you or anyone to get.

I am a college student who's always on the go, and I was in the market for a case that can stand up to the bumps and drops that come my way. This case does just that. The case is padded and insulated all over, so you will not fear that bumping and dropping the case against hard surfaces would damage your precious investment in a Palm. Moreover, the case allows you to keep the flip cover as an added protection to your screen. The fit, even with the flip cover, is just right. The velcro attachment is also very secure, so you don't have to worry about a Palm crashing to the ground unexpectedly. I usually put my Palm in my coat pocket last winter and spring. Summer posed a problem, but I got around it by attaching a key chain to the zipper and hooking it to my belt strap. It work perfectly, and the zipper enclosure holds up to the stress of the Palm's weight even as I walk fast... Overall, this product is a must-buy as a protection for your investment in Palm

I just got the case. It has a nice feel to it and is very well constructed. I'm happy with the purchase. This price is very good.Pros Heavy Duty Zipper. Well made. Great protection. Stylish Cons No belt clip. I don't really miss it but it would be nice to free up my hands and stick it on my belt. (but then again, I will look less like a geek.) Makes Palm III more bulky. Difficult to keep in pocket. Not much room inside to store anything besides a business card and a couple of scraps of paper. Velcor mount for Palm III not very secure.

Neoprene case - It's really nice,

Got this case for my Palm IIIxe.. Really surprised and impressed with the quality and feel of it. It's really sporty, but nice enough that I'm not embarassed to take it with me to a business meeting. It protects the palm really well when dropped because it is padded quite nicely. The only thing I wish it had was some kind of clip or some method of attaching it to my body. The palm by itself fits quite nicely into pockets, but when it's in the case, it's a little too bulky for pockets. So a clip to attach to the belt would be good. Funny story...I was standing in line at the western union desk at Kmart, and put my palm down on the counter to fill out the form. To make this really short, I forgot to pick the palm back up and walked out of the place with the palm sitting on the counter. I came back an hour later (in a frantic urgent state of mind) and was pleasantly surprised that my palm was still sitting right where I left it. Moral of story: 1) This case needs a clip to fasten to one's body. 2) The case is very nice looking. I believe that nobody touched it because they may have thought that it was a piece of merchandise that someone decided they didn't want at the last minute, so they ditched it at the counter. Overall, though, it's a fine product. Oh, and it has a pocket inside for business cards, etc.

Great Idea,
This review is from: PalmOne PalmGlove Neoprene Case for Palm III (Black) (Office Product)
This is a GREAT product if you don't want to go all out with a huge leather bulky case with paper organizers and stuff in it. This is small, sleek, lightweight, and it's also stylish while protecting your Palm. I also have a PalmIIIe and this case does a good job of protecting it. Like the others said, if you dropped your Palm it would be okay. (I have this case in yellow but it's the same thing). It comes with a place to put a business card in so if it gets lost, someone could return it; and there's also a place to put the stylus so you don't always have to reach back when it's already velcroed. This is a great idea, and if you're getting anybody a Palm as a present, get them this case, too!

better than incase,

I originally bought the incase designs palm III case but it was a tight fit for my palm IIIe. Now I have this case, and I have to say, it's much better. Sleeker styling, nicer interior, and most importantly the PDA fits in it! It offers the same degree of protection as the incase holder without being quite as bulky.

Looks Good, Feels Good, Protects Well,

The Neoprene PalmGlove Case is aesthetically pleasing and also extremely practical. I bought mine on the recommendation of someone who has one: he dropped his onto the pavement and into a puddle. His PDA was fine. On the plus side, it is compact. It is padded, but doesn't take up much more room than your PDA (in my case, a Handspring Visor). There is an ID window and one slot inside, as well as a holder for an extra stylus. Some may see the fact that there's no room for anything else as a negative, but I got my Visor to eliminate lugging around address books and notepads, etc. Why confuse the issue? Probably the only negative is the lack of a clip or belt loop or even a strap. But, given the price of other PDA carriers, this is an excellent value for money.

This is a very good case overall for the Palm series. I own a Palm IIIxe, and the fit is well, and the protection is great. However, I would just say that there are few minor things to keep in mind when you are looking to purchase this. Pros: 1. Water repellent 2. Great Shock Protection 3. Cool look 4. Zipper to keep things out/prevent slipping Cons: 1. Bulky - doubles the size of your Palm. (depth) 2. Zipper - keeps things out, yes, but think twice if you are going to be using this device frequently. If you are, then it gets to be a hassle to unzip/zip each time to enter data. Also, because it is bulky, you might not be able to keep it in a coat pocket. Consider this case if you tend to have an active lifestyle, have a larger bag that you might take it in, and don't use your Palm too frequently. Other than that, it is great looking, and its protection factor is amazing.
