This was the _only_ product that healed my dry and chapped lips. Not even Aquaphor, which I love, did it. I was about to schedule an appt with my dermatologist because I couldn't take the pain anymore. I read that cocoa butter and vitamin E were the best ingredients to heal sore lips and I gave it a try and in a few days my lips were fine. Can be applied under lipstick and also great at bedtime. Can't live without it. They also come with SPF 15 and 30. I'm getting those too.

I carry this Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E swivel stick tube in my purse at all times. I usually buy this product at my local CVS/Pharmacy store, but that's awesome that Amazon is selling this product at a good, affordable, and reasonable price. In my opinion, it's well worth it to buy this tube. This swivel stick is .5 oz, bigger than any lip balm tube I own. And it lasts for a long while. The cocoa butter smell is fabulous. This balm keeps your lips smooth for long periods of time. I really like the fact that Palmer's is against animal testing. I also love that this swivel stick is portable and multi-functional. Not only does this lip balm soothe and improve dry, chapped lips, but it also helps smooth and alleviate the dry skin, marks, and blemishes throughout the rest of my body as well. This product's ingredients are: Cocoa Extract, Mineral Oil, Microcrystalline Wax, Cocoa Seed Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol, and Carotene. My verdict: if I was stranded on a desert island and could only carry and possess one of a few cosmetic/bodycare products, this Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Swivel Stick would be among the products I would take to the island.

My lips always tend to be dry, and the winters are especially bad. I picked one of these up based on the review that said that they are great for chapped lips -- and definitely agree! This stick goes on smoothly, and it really lasts so that I don't have to re-apply as often as I do with other balm products.

Also, one reviewer commented on the price being too high, but I've spent a lot more on this for products that don't work nearly as well. I think that this works great and is at a reasonable price, especially considering that the tube should last a really long time!
