I thoroughly enjoyed reading this intertaining horse opera. Molly's style is so unique and her story line is intriguing. You keep wondering what will happen next. And her characters are so believable. It's a folksy romp in the old west.

A sweet slice of the Old West life,

This review is from: Palo Verde: The Wanted Poster (Paperback)
I enjoyed being transported back to the past in this Old West tale. Miss Hollingshead rendered a convincing setting, solid characters and authentic dialogue that drew me in to her story. Even though the outcome of the story was somewhat foretold, the journey there was enjoyable. For those who want to feel what it was like to live in the West in 1905, this is as close as you can get without buliding a time machine to get there yourself.

Writer Hollingshead spins a tale of murder and greed laced with suspense and one man's determination to right a wrong using "new scientific methods" Marshall Pappy Watson is a Marshal like "NO OTHER" and he won't stop until he gets "His" man. The robust characters Hollingshead has created are "real" and easy to connect with. The dialogue is fast-paced and interesting, and the plot will have the reader turning the pages as fast as humanly possible! I'd give this book more than 5-Stars if that were an option! Do yourself a huge favor and order your copy of this MUST READ book ASAP--You'll be glad that you did-- This is a story that you do not want to miss. A real page-turner to be sure and one that I highly recommend! |
