Amazon.com Review

New York Times bestselling author Danielle Steel continues to captivate audiences with tales of love found, lost, and found again, against seemingly impossible odds and amidst a plethora of human drama. When high-powered ad exec Samantha Taylor's picture-perfect marriage to a news anchorman dissolves, she heads west to her friend's California ranch. Throwing herself into the simple routine of life on Lord Ranch, Sam finds a new love in ranch foreman Tate Jordan. But when Tate learns of Sam's life in the fast lane of New York society and her high-profile marriage, he abandons her, telling himself that a mere cowboy can never make Sam happy. Heartbroken, Sam reluctantly returns to her old life in New York. After battling her way back to relative independence, an unexpected inheritance enables Sam to begin a program that teaches physically challenged children to ride horses, encouraging their recovery. Along the way, Sam rediscovers her dreams of motherhood when an abused little boy appears on her doorstep and then love reappears when circumstances bring Tate Jordan back to Lord Ranch and to Sam. Don't blink when reading this one; you'll miss something important! --Alison Trinkle --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Story at it's best, December 30, 2003
This review is from: Palomino (Paperback)
A great love story has to have a bit more in it than just the couple falling in love & working to be together. It has to have another element, and that's what the horses are to this book. It's not just the horse ranch, but the passion the characters have for the horses & their determination to use that passion for good. This is one of Steel's classic books, I recommend it, I think you'll enjoy every mintue as I did!

This review is from: Palomino (Paperback)
I'm a huge DS fan and I absolutely loved this book it was a heart warming romance what Tate and Sam had was great and it took some separation to make it greater. I also loved the realtionship between Sam and the little boy she adopted she loved him very much and he loved her back just as much great read. All DS fans should read this one and if you are a fan this book will make you a fan.
