These cookies are so crunchy and full of mini cholate chips. It is hard to only eat one serving. They do not 'taste' gluten free, they taste like regular chocolate chip cookies!

First, I happened to be the customer who told them their declared weight was wrong on this product. It used to be listed (here on Amazon as well as on Pamela's own website) as .7 ounce each. In fact, each packet, a single cookie, is .2 ounce or slightly more, so they still don't have it correct. After lengthy email and phone correspondence they sheepishly admitted the error in weight. You could say this is not worth troubling oneself over, but that's more than three times exaggeration, .7 to .2, so the goal of truth in advertising should have straightened them out. (If you order these cookies and have a postal scale, you can weigh them yourself; you won't find them weighing in at .43 ounce, I'm pretty certain.)

Second, before I had finished corresponding with the company, I had ordered this product (100 packets of .7 ounce each). I had tried them in the other package they offer, I believe 7 full ounces (now that I think about that, I wish I had weighed that package's contents). Extreme chocolate really did describe the cookie. BUT, these individual packets contain stale, or at least, very, very dry cookies; nothing at all like I'd tried before.

Try them if you want, but be prepared to ask Amazon for credit. I did.

Okay, so they aren't as chewy as the wheat version of a ginger molasses cookie. They don't quite *snap* like the wheat version of ginger snaps. Like a lot of gluten-free cookies, they're more crumbly than chewy. On the other hand, they do give a good kick of that ginger taste I have missed since I have began avoiding wheat years ago. I also like that these don't have corn in the ingredients list- just rice and tapioca for flour. So many of the GF alternatives use corn flour, which might work for Celiacs but doesn't always work for those of us who have intolerances that include corn. I am pretty keen on the idea that I could pulverize these in the food processor and use them for a graham cracker crust. I think they'd be phenomenal in a trifle or as a pressed crumb layer of a layered cookie. I've been pretty happy with the Pamela's line of GF products, and this one did not let me down. This product is going on my permanent Amazon shopping list.

These are the best gluten free ginger cookies I have tried. They have a snappy ginger flavor and are very crispy. They easily can be crushed in a ziplock bag with a rolling pin to make a delicious pie crust or topping for apple crisp. This one is a winner!

They have the same crunch that chip's ahoy have. The cookies don't taste gluten-free. Also, the cookies come in a reasealable bag, so they won't go stale.

These cookies are amazing! So many "healthier" cookies taste like sand. These remind me of "Famous Amos" cookies, but with much better ingredients.

Second, before I had finished corresponding with the company, I had ordered the Extreme Chocolate version of this cookie product (100 packets of .7 ounce each). I'd tried them previously in the other package they offer, 7 ounces. These individually wrapped cookies are dry/stale, nothing at all like the larger package version. If you do order them, and you have a postal scale, check out the weight for yourself.

Try them if you want, but be prepared to ask Amazon for credit. I did.

These cookies used to have a great gingerbread taste, spicy with a nice cookie crunch. (as is mentioned in earlier reviews). Unfortunately, the recipe has changed. I thought perhaps I just had a bad batch but I've tried them a couple of times in the last few months and they were consistently bad (see comments in from people in more recent reviews).

The cookies are now way too sweet and don't have any ginger taste. It's like eating really, really sweet cardboard. The texture is rather mealy. The first time I ran into a yucky package of these, I honestly thought it was a manufacturing mistake and they forgot to add the spices and that had thrown off the texture, too.

I used to recommend these cookies all the time. Now I can't recommend them to anyone with working taste buds. I am stunned and saddened that this company took a great product and made it inedible. Save your money.
