Pamper Me is a wonderful read.,
This review is from: Pamper Me (Paperback)
Nicey Johnson is happy when any of her clients gets together and end up married to each other. That is the main reason why she started her business Pamper Me. She believed in the Happily Ever After for everyone else but herself. She isn't interested in a realtionship or at least she thinks she isn't until a chance meeting with a handsome stranger in a parking garage.
Spencer hates the fact that his sister is always using him to get what she wants out of life. Whenever she has a problem he always there for her no matter what and that's the reason he is sitting in a cold parking garage waiting for her to leave her latest party. He was fed up with being her protector it was way past time she started doing stuff for herself. Spencer was about to chalk up his night as a big flop until he spots the goddess in the peach dress hurrying past his car. He had never in his life seen such a stunning woman before and without giving it a second thought he gets out of his car and follows her. He couldn't let the night end without at least finding out her name. Spencer is determined to make Nicey understand that he is the perfect man for her. He wants her to see that the Happily Ever After can be for her. He can sense Nicey is worried about giving him her heart, but he vows to be everything she is looking for in a man. What he doesn't except is once he has Nicey in love with him that his nosy sister will do something to ruin it and he has to prove that he isn't the man Nicey now believes that he is. Pamper Me is a wonderful read from Marie Rochelle. I like how Ms. Rochelle always takes the time to get her characters to know each other before anything else happens. I love the romance of all of her books and the sex scenes always fit the character's personalities. It's never forced or just there to have a sex scene. It always shows how much the hero and heroine care about each other. MS. Rochelle is always on my auto buy list becasue I enjoy her writing that much. I purchased this book when it was an ebook and I'm thrilled now I can add it to my bookshelf with my other favorite writers.

Nicey Johnson helps women find the man of their dreams by making them over and sending them out on dates. She is most happy when any of her clients gets together and end up married to each other. That is the main reason why she started her business "Pamper Me." She believes in "happily ever after" for everyone but herself and is not interested in a relationship. She is happy all by herself that is until she meets the handsome Spencer Davis Carlton.
Spencer, a prominent lawyer, hates that his sister is always using him as her date when she is on the outs with her boyfriend. Spencer is fed up with being her protector, as well as the women who dates him just to get close to his sister. But Spencer thought all was lost until he sees the most beautiful woman he has ever seen walking towards his car and, without a second thought, he approaches her. He was not going to let the night end without knowing this beautiful vision. And even though he was the most gorgeous man she has ever seen, Nicey didn't want anything to do with him. So, needless to say, she did not give up her name or the digits. But unbeknownst to her, Spencer has a photographic memory and remembers her license plate number. With this information in hand, he seeks the help of a very good friend at the police station. He not only learns her name but also where she works. I have to tell you, that Spencer is my kind of guy. After all that Nicey has been through with relationships, she was very reluctant to yield her heart to anyone else. But Spencer was very determined to make Nicey understand that he is the perfect man for her and that they are going to spend the rest of their lives together. Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed "Pamper Me" by Marie Rochelle. Her characters are always well developed with enough history of each character to understand where they are coming from. There was just enough dialogue to keep me interested in the book. I can't wait to read about the two best friends of Spencer and Nicey (that just happened to have been a in relationship that went bad). But, again, the grammatical errors caused me to lower my rating by two stars. If there weren't so many, I would have given it a 5 star.

I have the same complaints as some others here- GET AN EDITOR. This is truly terrible, I couldn't get past the first few chapters because the mistakes were just too much. Can this woman get an editor please? Anyone, I'm not saying it has to be perfect, it just has to be good!

I actually liked both the main characters and thought that overall it was a good read. The plot wasn't too far fetched, however, I must point out that once again I am very disappointed in the editing of these books, I mean come on, alot of these typos are very simple things. I am not one to be too picky, but at times it really took away from the story. Veri distraqtinng if u no wat i meane! But seriously, I would say that it is worth reading.

The story was not so bad, it wasn't too sexually vulgar but the wind-down was practically nonexistent and the ending was forced. I was disappointed and unsatisfied at the end.

This is the second Marie Rochelle book I've read and both were plagued with the same afflction -- the books have not been edited or were poorly done. The story(ies) had potential but were painful to read because of poor grammar and improper word use. Marie, please do yourself a favor and find a good copy edito.

I aboslutely LOVE Marie Rochelle - she is by far my favorite interracial romance writer. However, that being said - this book has probably not been my favorite out of all. There was no background on either character - fast paced, weak woman & cocky man with no good reason except for the fact that he has blonde hair and a famous sister.
Didn't have any connection to the characters. Even though I didn't like it much, I do recommend for people to read it. What one person will not like, another might like it.

You have got to be kidding me, best selling author, I have a high school student who could top this. Where was the editor? Where was spellcheck? It was like watching a car wreck, I knew I should move on, I just couldn't believe what I was seeing/reading
