I made the huge mistake of buying the baby dry after reading through the reviews. I thought that for the price, why not try them. What a huge mistake! I should have just bought a smaller amount to try them first. Instead we have been using these for over a month now and I have had to clean up a poop spill at least every other day. My baby was 4 months old when we started using these and since she is not eating solids yet, the poop is pretty runny. The baby dry don't absorb the runny poop and it tends to just go right up the back side of the diaper onto her outfit and usually whatever or whoever she is lying on. It's just not worth the money saved! I will only buy the Swaddlers from now on. Hope this helps someone wondering which to buy Swaddlers or Baby Dry, DEFINITELY go with the SWADDLERS!!

We were using Pamper's Swaddlers on my son without a problem, and decided to try these to save some money. BAD decision! They gave him an awful, painful diaper rash withing 2 days of use. Once we switched back to swaddler's the problem was gone. They might be okay for some babies, but not those with sensitive skin.

We're sorry to hear about your son's reaction, kbillz. While our diapers may look a little different, they contain the same gentle ingredients we've been using for over 20 years. We' re available at 1-800-785-4472 to answer any questions you might have. Again, we apologize, and hope your little one is feeling better.

I had always been a loyal customer for pampers products. My son is now 11 months old and except for the first month, I had always used only pampers diapers and wipes. I have used these products in India and the quality was much better. I came to USA last month and since I had always used pampers, I went for pampers diapers again.

To my dismay, the quality is so low but I thought that it would atleast work well. I have noted that it doesn't last for more than 5 hours. I put the diaper on at 830PM in the night and must change it at around 2 AM in the morning. One day night I didn't change his diaper at 2 and I woke up at 3AM when my son woke up crying, I was so shocked to see the diaper gel lying all over the bed. The bed and the comforter was all covered with the gel that came out.

I feel that pampers should atleast consider the health of babies and make sure that their products are upto the standards.

I will never buy this product again. Will stick with others instead of Dry Max. I don't like seeing my daughter cry like crazy due to the rashes on her from using this diaper.

I am a stay at home Mom with 4 children. I have been buying diapers for the past almost 11 years and Pampers Baby Dry is hands down the best diaper on the market, and believe me I have tried them all! All of my kids have been "super soakers" when it comes to pee. These diapers way out perform any other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me are:
1. They are thin, easy to pack 5 in a diaper bag.
2. Easy to unfold with one hand (if you, like me frequently have to use the other hand to keep baby still)
3. tabs are easily opened without extra unfolding and don't rip off like several other brands.
4. Doesn't leave residue on baby or smell like pee when really soaked.
5. wider in the front to prevent baby from peeing out the side (and my kids are experts at this)

One thing that may be helpful is to remember that Pampers fit better on children that are long and skinny. If your baby is short and really chubby in the bottom, then Huggies will fit your baby better. This, I believe, explains the few complaints about Pampers not fitting or leaking.

Hope this review was helpful!

Pampers are the best diaper out there. Most absorbent diaper I have ever tried. Fits well and very soft and comfortable!

these diapers are ok as long as you can change your baby right after he/she goes to the bathroom. they tend to leak if you do not. even a tiny amount of urine in these and they are not going to hold up the next time your tiny little love goes to the restroom. swaddlers are better.

I used Pampers Swaddlers from the very start since it's what the hospital sent us home with. When my daughter started moving up in size, and the price per diaper started to hike, I decided to research other options that would save me money. Baby Dry had decent reviews and I thought, being the same company, how different could these diapers be?

Different enough that I see why there's a fairly large price gap.

For one, I can't stand the way the Baby Dry diapers smell after they've been saturated. In the morning when I go into my daughter's room, the first thing I can smell is the diaper. Ugh! I never noticed this so much with Swaddlers. Yes, there is an odor after the diaper has been wet and sitting overnight, but it's not nearly offensive with the Swaddlers as with the Baby Dry.

The fit of the two diapers is somewhat similar, but I think Swaddlers give slightly more coverage up the back.

My other issue is that I'm not convinced the Baby Dry absorbs better than Swaddlers. Again, when the diaper has been soaked overnight and it's being changed, the surface inside the Baby Dry is anything but dry. Swaddlers actually do seem fairly dry after having been soaked. The Baby Dry also just seems to get really squishy and soggy for overnight use. Whatever the Swaddlers use to absorb wetness inside seems to get firm when it's full.

I also appreciate the wetness indicator line on Swaddlers. Baby Dry do not have these.

I think if I was using these from the start, I wouldn't be as quick to complain. But Pampers Swaddlers spoiled us! The huge price gap between the two lines had me dealing with the Baby Dry for quite some time, though.
