I have a package of these at home, and eventhough they are just halfway done, I went and bought the Swaddlers because they are way more better. These don't stretch and the adhesive to fasten the diapers stick to my baby's leg causing him to scream when I have to take it off...swaddlers are worth the price!

2.0 out of 5 stars Pay more for Swaddlers - it's worth it
We tried the Baby Dry when our baby was younger. He woke up wet a few times in the middle of the night (as he did with Huggies & Luvs too.)

When Amazon was selling Swaddlers for $7.49 we tried them instead & have been hooked ever since. The're much more custom-fitted & we have NO leaky diapers anymore. Swaddlers hold everything in! Better yet, they keep our...

Better yet, they keep our baby feeling dry (even though he's not) & comfortable.

Now the Swaddlers price has gone up on Amazon but you can still find good deals on Swaddlers @ Sams, Costco & when they're on sale @ the grocery store. We won't buy anything other than Swaddlers - it's not worth it!

Don't get me wrong, Pampers are great, but spend the extra money for the Swaddlers. They really are worth it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Buy Swaddlers (and then Cruisers) instead, July 30, 2004

These don't stretch AT ALL. It's worth it to get the Swaddlers (sizes 1 and 2) or Cruisers (larger sizes) because they are very flexible and seem much more comfortable.

The Swaddlers are so much better. Better fit with the stretchy sides. Absorption is OK though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Price, May 6, 2004

I thought I should chime in here on the pricing issue. Amazon has now added larger Value Packs where you can get still get the same price per diaper you were getting before on these smaller packs. This is the most competitive price I can find anywhere and you can get it shipped free to your door.

2.0 out of 5 stars Hard on newborns!, April 6, 2004
This review is from: Pampers Baby Dry Diapers, Size 1, Sesame Street, 56-Count (Health and Beauty)
I brought my newborn daughter home from the hospital and the first diaper I used was he Pampers Swaddlers for newborns, because they have a hole cut into them for ambilical cord protection. Then I switched to the Baby Dry Pampers, just to try them out.

I knew as soon as I took the first one off of my daughter that I would never use them again! The plastic they are made of rubbed on my little ones legs and left angry red marks around her thigh area. Newborns have enough stress without having to wear an uncomfortable diaper! The Pampers Swaddlers are made with a clothlike material that doesn't chafe and they holdup great! Sure they cost a little more, but they are worth every penny if they keep my child comfortable!

The product itself is very good. I bought it very frequently from amazon.com since my baby was born.

But recently amazon.com raised the price from $7.49 to $10.49 which is much higher than any other grocery stores. Like in Target, the price is only $9.44!

If amazon.com still maintains this highest price for this product, the customers like me will go to other stores for sure!
