For the last 14 months I have used Pampers Thick Care Wipes and been very happy. I went to order them again and they are no longer available. I called Pampers and they were discontinued in August. I then ordered these Pampers Baby Fresh and am VERY unhappy. They are much thinner, the smell is way to overpowering, too wet to the point they are dripping, they smear food or dirty diaper contents with out cleaning as well and finally they gave my daughter a rash on her face. I am sad that Pampers would take such a quality product off the market and leave these. I could switch to the sensitive or the unscented wipes to avoid the rash but that doesnt take care of the slimy, thin wipes. I have been a avid Pampers user for diapers and wipes for 7 years. They are going to loose my business with wipes. I will have to try Huggies or something that has a stronger, thicker wipe. Please bring back the Thick Care!!

I have used Pampers products for over 6 years and am sorry to have to write a negative review.
This is the first box of Softcare Baby Fresh Wipes I have ordered, or even used for that matter. I have always used the Thick Care Wipes, but since they were no longer being offered in the Subscribe and Save section, I changed products. After using just half of the first pack of Softcare Baby Fresh Wipes, I dread having to use them.
First, the scent is NOT refreshing or even too pleasant. I use wipes for everything with my children (changing diapers, wiping hands and faces, even cleaning up little spills). Upon opening the first package in the kitchen to wipe my daughters messy hands and face from lunch, my toddler wrinkled her nose and asked what that "stinky smell" was. I have to admit that that made me laugh, but I had to agree. We don't like the smell. I usually purchase unscented, but since that was not an option, I thought these would be at least a mild powder smell, or something similar. Nope.
Second, the wipes have a "silky" feel to them. They feel "thick" enough, but not as thick as the Thick Care wipes, but too silky. When changing my daughter's diaper and wiping her bottom, I am not confident using the wipes. I mean, I feel like the wipes are going to slide off the area I am wiping and I will get my hand wiped on her bottom instead. I have to be careful when wiping so I don't get any of the messy wipe on my hand. I have to wipe the same area at least 2 or 3 times to make sure I get it clean. I HATE it! I feel I need to wear gloves just to protect my hand! With the Thick Care, one wipe per spot was perfect!
I think I noticed the Thick Care Wipes being offered in the general area of Amazon. I am going to pay the extra money and purchase the Thick Care today. I am going to donate the box of wipes (6 packages) to my local YMCA to use so they get used.
