How many diapers will I change a day?
In the first couple of months, you might find yourself changing diapers up to 10 times in 24 hours. Diapers should be changed whenever they are wet or soiled. Your baby will often (but not always) let you know. With a super-absorbent diaper like Pampers, you can tell if it's wet by feeling for lumps in the absorbent material. Here are some common times for changing diapers:
—Right before or right after every feeding
—After every bowel movement
—When your baby wakes up
—When you go out with your baby
Is there anything special I need to know about changing a diaper?
Pampers diapers are designed to adjust to your baby's shape for a snug, comfortable fit. While you’re changing diapers, there's no need to fold the waistband in or out or to adjust the leg cuffs.
—Place tabs parallel to the waistband and centered on the character strip.
—Use the characters as guides to ensure the fasteners are evenly spaced.
—Keep baby products such as powder and baby wipes away from the fasteners so they maintain their stickiness.
What size diaper is right for my baby?
Just like you, babies like to wear things that fit just right. Choose a diaper size that does not sag or gap, even as your baby crawls and plays. This will help prevent leaks. Each product description on this site gives guidelines that represent the average weight for a particular size. And remember, when you move up a size, you gain absorbency.
What’s the best method to weigh my baby?
The easiest way to weigh your baby is to first hop on the scale yourself. See how much you weigh, then see how much you weigh when you hold your baby. If you subtract your weight, you'll know how much your baby weighs.
Is there any safety information I need to know about diapers?
You buy the latest toys, and babies wind up playing with silly things—like diapers. It's important to keep diapers where they should be, on your baby's bottom. Don't let your baby put the diaper in his mouth. Discard any diaper that has become torn or unsealed, and read the warning label on all bags.
How do diapers absorb all that moisture?
AGM is the absorbent gelling material widely used in diaper padding to absorb wetness. It is perfectly normal to see some gel on the skin from time to time, especially if the diaper is heavily saturated. It can easily be removed by wiping your baby's skin. This material has a long history of safe use in a variety of products and has been in diapers for more than a decade. Absorbent gelling material is closely related to ingredients widely used in cosmetics and in food processing.
Do unused diapers need to be stored anywhere special?
Store your diapers in an area protected from extreme heat and humidity and away from products with fragrances. We recommend that diapers be kept in a dry storage area where the temperature is 85 degrees Fahrenheit or less.
Caution: Keep away from any source of flame. Pampers Diapers, like almost any article of clothing, will burn if exposed to flame. To avoid risk of choking on plastic, padding, or other materials, do not allow your child to tear the diaper, or handle any loose pieces of the diaper. Discard any torn or unsealed diaper, or any loose pieces of the diaper. To avoid suffocation, keep all plastic bags away from babies and children. If you notice gel-like material on your baby's skin, don't be alarmed. This comes from the diaper padding and can be easily removed by wiping your baby's skin with a soft dry cloth.
Pampers Swaddlers contain these mild ingredients which are gentle to the skin: Petrolatum, Stearyl Alcohol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract

I'm sorry you were unhappy with your recent purchase of our Swaddlers. It may help to know that we've made some recent improvements to our Swaddlers' soft outer cover and the way the diapers distribute the wetness, which should provide a better fit with less sagging. Based on your pictures, it looks like have received a package of our newer diapers. We haven't changed the leakage protection of our diapers and wouldn't want your little one to be having blowouts. We're parents too and understand how leaks can interrupt your day. Sometimes a larger size can help prevent this.
The chemical odor you mentioned is possibly the scent of the raw materials used during manufacturing which can be more noticeable if the package is freshly made. We want you to be satisfied with your choice of Pampers and would be happy to help with this. If you'd like to reach out to one of our experts, we can be reached at 1-877-256-3265.

And before the Pampers Damage Control comments, we are not idiots that don't know how diapers should work. When we can alternate between the new design and old design of diapers and our child leaks in the new ones on the first pee while they never leak in the old ones during their 12 hours of sleeping during the night, it is clearly the new design that is causing this.
Please change back to the old design. Why mess with something that was working so well?
The redesign of the wetness protection was to provide a better flow of wetness from front to back, which should be reducing the sag in the diaper when wet. As a parent myself, I certainly know the frustration you must be having finding a wet baby in the morning. I completely understand that after 20 months of use of diapers you know how a diaper works, but have you considered using a larger size? Sometimes babies grow so quickly they will outgrow the absorbency before outgrowing the actual fit and size of the diaper. There is more absorbent material in the larger size and if your baby is close to the higher end of the weight range, this should help prevent those annoying leaks your little one has been having. So as long as your baby is in a diaper that doesn't gap at the waist, back and legs even if it is a larger size, they should still have that protection.
We want your baby to wake up dry and you to wake up happy in the morning. We value your opinion and will certainly consider your suggestions when making future improvements. We'd like to help with this purchase, please feel free to call us 1-877-256-3265. We'd be happy to hear from you and receive additional details about your experience.

Don't waste your money!
The thinness you mentioned could be caused by how the diapers were packaged and they should still offer the same great leakage protection. Since you were unhappy with this purchase, we'd like to discuss this with you and offer help. If you have a moment, please reach out to us at 1-877-256-3265.

I checked the diaper . I found the hook and loop was very hard and sharp , which made the Conner of the it like a knife . My poor baby was cut by this bad quality and unsafe product！
You'd better not to buy this product if your baby moves a lot.

I did email Pampers directly and received a very bland response which didn't even address my concern. Bad move P&G on both your product and customer service!
And this may or may not be related, but my baby had 3 little red bumps on his butt cheeks this week. I am wondering if it is due to the "new" version of these swaddlers. :( :( :(
Don't offer the 20% subscription discount if you can't provide a good product. I would rather pay full price for a good diaper.
