5.0 out of 5 stars Never had a leak.
These are plain and simply the best diapers on the market. I can't say nearly as much for regular Pampers, Huggies, or even Luvs. We tried every brand available when my son was born a size preemie - nothing would fit on him, and everything leaked! 1.0 out of 5 stars Swaddlers Caused Diaper Rash

These are plain and simply the best diapers on the market. I can't say nearly as much for regular Pampers, Huggies, or even Luvs. We tried every brand available when my son was born a size preemie - nothing would fit on him, and everything leaked! We had our hospital guests running out for us to find us preemie onsies, sleepers, and diapers. Then we finally decided to try these, and they still fit him, no matter what he's growing like at the time. They're super stretchy and the softest diaper I've felt. Nothing scratchy touching the baby, and since they stretch and fit comfortably snug no matter what, you never have a pile of left over diapers that don't fit him anymore, when they go up to a new size. They fit till the end, and they overlap each other in size rage so there are no weird periods of growth when he's an 'in-between' size. They are also SUPER absorbant. We've changed more than one leak from Huggies, (regular) Pampers, and Luvs and most of them were all from 'weird angle!' accidents and the diapers were barely wet. With Swaddlers you go to change the diaper and it's as heavy as a softball and you're just flabberghasted. They pull everything away from his skin, and are just plain and simple = wonderful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spend a bit to save baby's clothes!, November 10, 2006
I am always trying to get the best value for my dollar so at first I only bought whatever brand of diapers I had a coupon for. These are the only ones that never leaked. Also, I wanted to use up all the luvs and huggies I got for gifts but I wish I had just spent the money for these. I ruined so many outfits and had to do the full poopy dipe change (sheets, blankets, etc.) in the middle of the night so many times with him in other diapers. For a while anyone who was holding him would panic if they heard or smelled anything because those other diapers wouldn't hold his forceful breastfed pooh. These only leak occassionally. I guess no diaper is perfect. Also, the mesh is AMAZING. His butt is almost CLEAN after a blowout. So, he has never had diaper rash. You wont have to worry about your baby sitting in "flesh eating acid", as we jokingly refer to baby pooh as, if you cant change it the seconds after they go. I cant believe I am reviewing a diaper, but we are so pleased with these.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love these BUT..., March 12, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We have used these diapers from day 1 for my now 5-month old. I LOVE the wetness indicator stripe, it is so convenient! A month ago when we ordered a huge box of 1-2's they had the wetness indicator. This time (same size, same size box) they didn't! Packaging is exactly alike, but sometimes you get it and sometimes you don't??? I really hope they are not phasing it out and putting it only on the sensitives, and I wish you could tell if the diapers have the stripe by the outside packaging. It is a total shot in the dark whether or not the stripe will be on the diapers once you open the box... and when it's not there it's a total bummer :/

1.0 out of 5 stars Swaddlers Caused Diaper Rash, May 13, 2010

I have used Pampers Swaddlers (both the new Dry Max and the previous technology) and Pampers Baby-Dry Diapers, Size 3 (16-28 Lbs), Economy Plus Pack, 204 Diapers on my 5 week old. We started with the Dry Max Swaddlers and he started developing diaper rash. As new parents, we amped up our vigilance and started using copious amounts of diaper cream. After a few days, not only did it not get better, it was getting worse. At this point we needed more diapers and I picked up the Pampers Baby Dry (not intentionally, we didn't realize that there was a difference between Pampers models). After only a day and half in these, the diaper rash started going away and finally disappeared as we made it through that pack of diapers. We assumed our fast swoop and change with the diaper cream was finally doing the trick. Now needing a bigger size, we picked up a pack of Swaddlers (old technology, not Dry Max), because they definitely are less bulky than the Dry Max. By the end of the end of the first day in these, the diaper rash was back. I may be new to this parenting thing, but whatever is in the Swaddlers is causing diaper rash for us. This isn't a knock against Pampers in general (no leaks in any of the diapers we used) and I do like the Baby Dry, but if you start seeing diaper rash in Swaddlers it may be due to whatever the absorbent chemical is.

1.0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE! NOT THE SAME AS SWADDLERS SIZE 1 YOU GET AT THE HOSPITAL, January 24, 2010
By

Word of warning: these are NOT the same diapers as the Pampers Swaddlers Size 1 you may have gotten in the hospital. We've been using Swaddlers Newborn (purchased in November 2009) and Swaddlers Size 1 (from the hospital) for our two week old, and have loved them. We thought we were ordering more of the same, but these are a totally different diaper - I'm not sure if the manufacturer has changed the product, or if this is just a case of bait and switch, but either way, we are very disappointed, and will have to get rid of the rest of the value pack after using less than five diapers. First, the diapers have an EXTREMELY strong artifical "baby powder" scent - it gives me a headache, scents the room, and I can only imagine will bother my baby too. (We have not seen a rash yet, but its only been a day, and with perfumes this strong, I'm afraid that is coming.) Second, the diapers are thinner than the ones we got from the hospital, and the absorbent pad only goes halfway up the back of the diaper. We've already had one major poop leak due to this. Third, the handy strip that changed colors when wet is gone ([...] says that Pampers has "temporarily stopped including" this). From some of the other reviews, it sounds like there may have been a recent redesign on the product, and perhaps the original Swaddlers are now sold under the Swaddlers Sensitive label??? Either way, we will not be buying these diapers again, or will at least be testing with smaller packages before buying in bulk.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pampers too much perfume, August 7, 2007
By
SJS (San Diego, CA) - See all my reviews
I agree that pampers swaddlers are good diapers - they are soft and conform well the the baby's bottom. My complaint is that they have too much perfume/odor. This has caused a very bad rash on my daughter. We tried everything you could imagine to stop this rash and then when it started to travel up the front and back we knew it was something else. We were using Huggies and I tried the Swaddlers as they were on sale. When we switched back, the rash immdiately started to heal - this was after 2 weeks of trying everything. They should offer an odor free version as I would consider it again.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST!!!!!, July 2, 2006
Just had to had my 2 cents here about this diaper. My 4 month old son has been in the swaddlers since his premature birth and he truly has not had one single diaper leak yet! He is my 3rd child and once again, I have found myself a true Pampers fan!

I agree with the other reviewer that noted how well these diapers fit. All 3 of my children have been different weights and body frames, yet Pampers has been the best fit for all of them!

I Love them!

1.0 out of 5 stars SO STRONG PERFUME!!!!!!, January 20, 2010

Why is it smell so much?? I just opened up the box of diapers that I got it from my baby shower, and the perfume of the diapers gave me a headache right away. The box and the description of this product didn't say anything about the scent. Think about me getting a headache just opening a box of diaper, what's going to happen to my little new born baby??? DO NOT BUY THIS DIAPER!!! Unless you like the strong perfume smell that knocks you out. I am so disappointed with Pampers.

1.0 out of 5 stars Gave my daughter horrible rash, January 14, 2010
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have been a loyal Pampers user since my daughter was born. Unfortunately, Pampers changed their diapers in December of 2009 and the new version of the diapers gave my daughter a horrible rash with blisters. It took us nearly 4 weeks to figure it out. I thought about changing diapers, but she had always been fine in Pampers and we had spanned two different packages. I read some other reviews as we needed to order more diapers and found others' talking about this horrible rash. We changed her to huggies last night and literally in 1 day her rash is healed with only faint marks left. I can not believe that Pampers changed their product without some notification on the packaging or website. If your child has a horrible, blistered diaper rash that is not getting better with creams - try new diapers for a few days.

1.0 out of 5 stars BEWARE OF POOP LEAKAGE FROM THE BACK, May 27, 2009

for those of you that think this diaper brand is better than huggies think again. i'm a first time parent of a 2 month old now, and i both both swaddler and huggies from b.j.s. to test them out. the huggies i have no problem w/ while the swaddlers i have 2 leakage. both from the rear end. i thought spending the extra money for my little one is worth every penny, but i'm wrong, don't waste your money on expensive brand thinking its better. the only 2 thing is better at is that its softer i admit, and the little yellow line in the middle. other than that i believe huggies is much better doing the job than this. after having 2 leakage i can't help but to comment on this. because the first leakage you would to thikn its your own fault, at less in my case. however, more than once and it occur the same way. when i'm trying to feed him, holding him in a 45 degree angle, the leaks starts to appear. also due to the softness of this "cotton like", the back and the leg area start to seek out. if your baby only do urination. this diaper can handle it. other than that. its just a waste of your money. i just hope those other parents didn't have a bad experience as i have, might i add, this happens in the middle of the night at 2 am ? where i have poop all over him, me and the carpet. i can't help but to reply and comment on this crappy product.
