Pan Michael, like any Sienkiewicz work, is a wonderful read due to its prose, his wonderful characterization and due to his ability to bring color to his works.Reading Pan Michael, like reading Teutonic Knights or Fire and Sword, is like opening a doorway into another time......this particular time....medieval Poland. Stepping through this doorway, you encounter all of the sights, the sounds and the lives of the characters within. I highly recommend Pan Michael, and any other book you may find by Sienkiewicz. |
