We have three Geddes dolls, one for each of my three girls, and they are a marvelous toy. Although these dolls are fine enough for a collector's display (the clothes and the facial expressions are first-rate), they are durable enough to be a child's favorite, and ours are certainly well-loved. Just about every doll in the house has worn the sunflower hat at one time or another--if they are Very good.

I must admit that I was being a little selfish when I bought this doll for my 19 month old daughter for Christmas... Although as it turned out, she absolutley loved it! It is her new favorite baby. All her other dolls have been soft and although she still loves them, this one is the first doll that has looked like a real baby. That's one great thing about Anne Geddes dolls, they're aren't very many life-like baby dolls for 18 months. When she first opened it she started pointing to a baby picture of herself and saying "baby". My daughter must have it with her at all times and kisses her constantly. I think that the Sunflower hat is adorable but my daughter is adament about taking it, and the booties, off. I think it's because she herself doesn't like having a hat or socks on! Anyway I really don't have anything bad to say about this doll. I will probably buy another Anne Geddes doll in the future. I'd buy one for myself if my daughter would let me!

This was a gift for my daughters first birthday, she loves it lots of hugs and taking the "baba" with her.

I want to buy this doll desperately for my daughter, but she only wants a doll with blue eyes like hers. Your first review says the doll has "brown" eyes. Although, the doll pictured clearly has blue eyes. Which is it blue or brown? I've searched all over the web and I keep coming back to this site! So, I figured maybe I could write a review to get an answer back.
