Panamericana is a real family favorite CD of happy dancing music. These women have quite a vocal range and the variety of instruments add to the richness and depth. Lots of fun!
I would have given the album 5 stars but two vocal selections by Olivier Conan are not easy to listen to-- he doesn't have the voice for it. Sorry. It is easier just to skip those songs and get on with the beautiful Blondes of North America.
I look forward to the group's next CD.

I heard these lovelies on NPR first. They are classically trained with crystal clear voices. Also warmth and humor in their voices. Stunningly beautiful.

I love this CD, it's got a great polished sound. The female voices are incredible, and the contrast of ethereal singing and latin beats is so unique! It's been on constant play since I got it.

I was turned onto this group from a special on NPR. I heard a sample of their songs and had to buy it. The singers have soft soprano voices that you usually don't hear singing songs in Spanish, but it is beautiful none the less.

The perfect CD for poolside or patio soirees. Their voices are angelic and their songs classic.
It's like angels rubbing your ears with a soft chamois.

So yea, that's how perfectly lovely the female vocals are... the variety of tracks is... the musicians delicate hand at the instruments are... I hope you're happy Las Rubias Del Norte. You've made me write a positive review. Keep those smashing tunes coming!

truly, the voices are wonderful. one of those recordings that makes you want to simultaneously sit still to listen intently to the vocalizations AND dance your feet off.
