I bought this microwave from Amazon in January of 2010. We have a busy household, so it receives a great deal of use. It replaced a GE, our second microwave, that only lasted for a year; our first microwave, a Quasar, lasted for about 25 years, but they don't make them anymore. I have had no problems with this Panasonic at all. It heats quickly and completely, the controls allow a great variety of power and time settings. The large turntable is very convenient and is cleaned easily. The controls are easy to understand and use. We have a large cabinet designed for a microwave, so size was not a problem for me. The stainless look is also a nice bonus. So far, so good!
