Panasonic service plan
Normally I do not buy extended warranties. This one seemed worthwhile, decent price with Panasonic's backing. Also, I got such a great price on the Panasonic flatscreen, 1080, 120, I could justify the small added insurance.

"panasonic" three year coverage is NOT Panasonic coverage
I ordered this "panasonic" coverage only to learn while I was awaiting the paperwork, that it was a third-party plan. If there are any problems one is dependent on a for profit warrantee company covering the claim, Not Panasonic. Third-party coverage has a reputation for not paying claims. It's deceptive to call this a "Panasonic 3 year Customer Care Plan" when Panasonic...

I ordered this "panasonic" coverage only to learn while I was awaiting the paperwork, that it was a third-party plan. If there are any problems one is dependent on a for profit warrantee company covering the claim, Not Panasonic. Third-party coverage has a reputation for not paying claims. It's deceptive to call this a "Panasonic 3 year Customer Care Plan" when Panasonic has handed all responsibility for claims to a third party and doesn't stand behind the coverage. When I discovered it was a third-party plan, I canceled the plan and Amazon refunded my payment.

Lot's of words....I'm sending it Philly to have it reviewed, by you guessed it...... a lawyer.... Having given it a casual glance, it appears to cover a great product, for an extended period.....A total of 4 years. {1 year normal coverage on new purchase, plus 3 extended}.... The price is right.....I'll let you know if anything breaks, and whether the warranty is any good.....Maybe....I'm 71 years old ....
