Through channel labeling, you can assign an ID of one to four characters (such as KIRO or WNET) to up to 30 different channels. This feature comes in handy when cable systems assign different channel numbers to familiar network stations. The set gives you stereo audio (with 1.5 watts per channel) from broadcast programming via Multi-channel Television Sound (MTS), which permits broadcasters to encode stereo audio within the video portion of TV programming signals.
The AV inputs consist of composite-video and a standard RF coaxial-type input works with older VCRs and cable boxes. You can choose between a set of rear AV inputs and a set of front AV inputs for extra convenience, as when hooking up a camcorder or gaming console, though be aware that the unit accepts an input from only one device at a time. The set also features closed-caption display, V-Chip and GameGuard parental controls, and an auto on timer.
What's in the Box
TV, remote control, remote batteries, and user's manual.

Excellent quality for the price!,

This review is from: Panasonic CT-20G8 20" TV (Electronics)
Mine's worked flawlessly for over 3 years now, the picture is very sharp using DVDs, VCR, or cable TV. The reception of local stations before we got cable was admittedly weak, so an external powered antenna is probably a good idea. I have the sound coming out through a Sony component stereo system, so all in all it's a very adequate setup. My only wish is that it had S-video or component video inputs for the DVD. Sure, about 2-3 times the screen size would be nice too but then that would be anywhere from 4 to 12 times the cost! This is more than enough for a non-TV-addict like me who basically uses TV about 2-3 times a week to watch rented videos.
