Enjoy a crisp, brightly colorful picture without spending a lot of money with the nicely affordable Panasonic CT-27SL15 27-inch Pure Flat standard CRT television. It features a 2-line comb filter that separates colors and eliminates distortion to give you a razor sharp picture with outstanding clarity. It also produces a large stereo sound from its integrated dual speakers on either side of the screen. It also offers composite AV inputs on the front of the set, enabling you to easily connect a video camcorder or gaming console, and component video for the best video reproduction from a cable/satellite set-top box or DVD player.

Different sources can sometimes look different depending on broadcast quality and the connection used. The video picture memory feature lets you select from three different default picture settings--Standard, Cinema, or Vivid--and save the best setting for each input individually.

Clean up the mess of multiple remotes and take control of your system with the included universal remote control, which can command many different brands and types of components after some simple programming. It even lights up so you can see the buttons in the dark.

With the help of V-Chip technology, parents can use television ratings codes to black programs that they feel are inappropriate for their children to view. The V-chip can be turned on and off through the onscreen menu using a four-digit, user-programmed code. Once you choose an appropriate ratings level, the V-chip reads the ratings code transmitted with each program and automatically denies access to any programming that exceeds your rating.

I bought this TV in August. I think the picture is very good. However, what has happened is that the left speaker keeps cutting out. However, when I disconnect the left audio patch cord, both speakers keep playing with the left one cutting in and out. I have read another review with this mentioned at Circuit City so I am guessing there might be a problem with this. I didn't get the extrended warranty so I am stuck unless I want to pay for labor which will cost more than the parts I am sure.
