The 32-inch Panasonic CT-32SL14 television provides state-of-the-art picture quality thanks to its innovative Tau PureFlat picture tube, which is perfectly suited to deliver outstanding home theater performance. The CT-32SL14 has a misty silver color that looks great as a standalone device or as part of a home theater system. It features a digital comb filter, digital velocity scan modulation, component-video input, three A/V inputs (one in front), and two S-video inputs (one in front).
Panasonic's PureFlat screen minimizes reflections and distortion, so you can enjoy distraction-free TV viewing no matter where you sit in the room. The fine-pitch screen provides sharp images and excellent detail. To maximize picture quality, Panasonic's LCD TVs incorporate several video enhancement features. A digital comb filter accurately separates color information from black-and-white information, and eliminates dot crawl and hanging dots, both horizontally and vertically. With digital velocity scan modulation, advanced circuitry along the neck of the CRT senses shifts from black to white in the video signal. The black and white portions of the signal are sped up and slowed down, respectively, resulting in improved transitions.
This set has a built-in 181-channel tuner and two built-in speakers (10 watts apiece) that provide simulated surround sound and BBE high-definition audio enhancement, which helps restore the dynamic range of musical passages to help provide a more natural sound.
The Video Input Labeling feature lets you assign an onscreen label to each of the video inputs on the TV for easier identification of connected video sources. Video inputs can be labeled VCR or DVD instead of VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, etc. Up to eight characters can be used for each label.
The CT-32SL14 has 3 composite A/V inputs (1 front), 2 S-video inputs (1 front), 1 component-video input, 1 RF, and 1 headphone jack.

I was a bit wary about buying this tv, but after reading reviews on other sites pulled the trigger. And I am very happy I did - getting this TV at this price + delivery is absolutely amazing! Great picture clarity, color control that minimizes color bleeding, and I've never seen my dvds look better. BBE simulated surround works great, too. Don't need an HDTV set now, so went with it - over a similar SONY, which was over $100 more expensive. Amazon EGL service delivered it very quickly, helped me set it up and test it. I configured the remote to control my vcr, dvd and cablebox in under 15 minutes. Another thing - the TV is one HEAVY thing - have to buy a new tv stand as the old one is barely hanging on.

Buyer Beware,

I bought this TV from Circuit City. After 10 months in stopped working. I spent $300 to fix it only to have the same problem again 6 months later. BEWARE of this TV.

after 3years use, the remote control does not function right now. it is the problem with receiver side in TV.The price is higher than China-made one, but quality are worse. I will never bought over-priced Japanese brand TV any more.
