I was a bit wary about buying this tv, but after reading reviews on other sites pulled the trigger. And I am very happy I did - getting this TV at this price + delivery is absolutely amazing! Great picture clarity, color control that minimizes color bleeding, and I've never seen my dvds look better. BBE simulated surround works great, too. Don't need an HDTV set now, so went with it - over a similar SONY, which was over $100 more expensive. Amazon EGL service delivered it very quickly, helped me set it up and test it. I configured the remote to control my vcr, dvd and cablebox in under 15 minutes. Another thing - the TV is one HEAVY thing - have to buy a new tv stand as the old one is barely hanging on.

I bought this TV from Circuit City. After 10 months in stopped working. I spent $300 to fix it only to have the same problem again 6 months later. BEWARE of this TV.

after 3years use, the remote control does not function right now. it is the problem with receiver side in TV.

The price is higher than China-made one, but quality are worse.

I will never bought over-priced Japanese brand TV any more.

got the tv 2 years ago from circuit city; almost never used it the first year. wouldn't turn on this morning. DO NOT buy this tv.

I've had this TV (Circuit City purchase) for about 18 monhts now and so far I've had no problems.

The picture is great and the sound is also fine.

However I don't care for the 'sound' it makes when I turn it on.

Be aware that this TV is quite heavy so get a solid stand.

Pros: Nice looking. Great picture with digital TV. Good sound. Good picture controls.

Cons: Very wide, 35" (bearly fit into my tv cabinet). Not enough inputs (could use another s-video in the back). Heavy.

I purchased this TV at Circuit City in Jan. 2005, and it has been working flawlessly ever since. (Circuit City had several excellent reviews of this TV before it was removed from their website.) When looking at this TV in Circuit City and comparing it to the equivalent Sony & JVC this TV looked as good as in not better. When comparing it to a HD set while watch a digital Standard Def satellite channel there was little difference, if any.

This TV provides a great picture when using a digital source, such as digital cable or dvd. Some of my analog cable channels don't look so good, but that's not the TV's fault. On screen channel guides and text on cable news channels look super sharp.

Component input is great for xbox & dvd player, but no progressive scan mode (480p).

Sound is good, but of course it's better with my surround sound system.

We received this TV as a gift for my husband's promotion.

It worked beautifully for 2 years and - completely out of the blue and with no forewarning - it just stopped. turning. on.

I did some research, and that seems to be a problem with this particular model (though it seems to apply to the 27-inch version as well). I believe it's the CPUIC that randomly malfunctions (though I could be wrong on the name).

Though it served us well for two years, I'd warn all buyers away from this TV. It would cost us approximately $200 (conservatively) to fix this set; we can't afford that, and can't even vaguely afford to buy a new similarly sized set. This was a real disappointment. I did not expect what appears to be a consistent lack of quality from Panasonic.

I purchased this tv about a month ago...so far so good. The picture quality is great, the colors are excellent!!. Panasonic is a great brand, and for this price..I had to buy it. I strongly recommend it.

I bought this tv and it worked faithfully for 4 years to the date of its original purchase. It just stopped without warning. I am thankful for these reviews as I see that I am not the only one.

While wandering through the TV section at my local Wal-Mart about 5 months ago, I noticed a Panasonic CT-32SL14 32" Flat Screen TV marked down to $400. It was utilized as a floor model, had no remote, and had a few minor scratches/blemishes on the exterior housing from being moved in the store. I told the manager I would take it off her hands for $350. To my surprise and my wife's chagrin, she said OK! I had researched HDTVs for some time and knew this was a deal not to pass up. My only concern was of the possible increase for repairs, but not enough to forgoe buying it. I paid $350 for the TV and $20 for a RCA universal remote to replace the orignal that was missing. With tax, it was right at $400. A great deal if it keeps working!

To date, the Panasonic CT-32SL14 32" Flat Screen TV has exceeded my expectatons and I am totally satisfied with it and would highly recommend buying it. It has a crystal clear picture when projecting a HD signal from a DVD and/or from my digital cable box and a very good picture with analog signals. I am very pleased with the price and performance thus far and if nothing happens, that won't change!
