5.0 out of 5 stars Better than SONY's VEGA
I have this TV for over a year now. I've bought for $950 brand new and it is certainly nice to see that the price did not drop. I have compared it to SONY VEGA TV but the colour representation was better on the Panasonic. A solid good buy. I use it with my DVD and after a year I can't complain yet.

2.0 out of 5 stars Major Disappointment
I recently purchased this Panasonic SuperFlat to replace anolder - but superb - 27" Sony Trinitron with a largerscreen. After setup and several days of attempting to adjust and balance the color, I found the Panasonic color system to be significantly inferior to the Sony Trinitron color system. The Panasonic colors are supersaturated. The reds are unusually muddy,...

an excellent value. I did lots of shopping and this set is the best combination of quality and price. stunning colors

My only complaint is it doesnt come with component video. other than that an excellent overall TV. I would recommend it to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars beats SONY WEGA, January 21, 2000

I compared this TV with the 32" SONY WEGA and couldn'ttell the difference in the picture. I could tell the difference in thePRICE! I chose this 32" television over other similar priced 36" televisions because of the upgraded features and the value. I used the S-Video connection to my AVR for my DVD and satellite. Unbelievable picture! If you have $1000 to spend on a TV buy this 32" TV before you by a 36" TV.

5.0 out of 5 stars Panasonic CT32SF36 wins over Sony Wega 32"., March 3, 2000

I too compared this set with the Sony Wega 32" and went with the Panasonic. Picture quality is equivalent to the Wega and the price is certainly more reasonable. The set's lack of component video inputs did give me pause, but I wasn't willing to pay the premium for the Sony merely for that advantage. I hate the remote that came with the Panasonic because of the aggravating joy stick-like "action" key it has. I replaced the remote very quickly. But don't let the remote aspect sway you from what's an excellent television.

5.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't get any better, March 21, 2000

One of the best flatscreen TV's I have seen. An excellent picture combined with outstanding audio provides a great entertainment system. The additional toys (PIP etc) help liven up those times when there is really nothing worth watching.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Love It!, March 14, 2000

This TV delivers high-quality home entertainment. I've seen the rest and bought the best. The super-flat black screen accentuates colors and contrasts better than the more expensive Sonys. When used in conjunction with DVD and a home theater you will know why I am so enthusiastic.

This TV rocks! It is very large. IT is really flat so it eliminates pretty mutch of the glare on the screen. If you want to buy a good tv this is the one for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars too small, April 26, 2000

ive had this TV for about 6 months now, and the only thing iregret about it is not getting the 36"! I choose this TV over thev-series wega tv simply because its color,(and it cost a few $$$ less)it had a much better color contrast than the wega, whites were white instead of light brown. I have, however, noticed a few proformance flaws. the geometry of the screen is a little off in the corners ,but the only time i really notice it is when i have test patterns on screen(this is possably due to a weak power supply). The other problem is the brightness of the set, its hard to get a perfect balance of brightness while still keeping blacks black. Other than that . . . no other non HDTV television at any price range can compete with the superflat!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Panasonic CT32SF36 32" 'SuperFlat' Flat Screen TV (Electronics)
The reds are unusually muddy, the blues and greens very noisy, and the flesh tones annoyingly artificial. I also found the resolution (sharpness) to be poor compared to Sony. I would highly recommend seeing a demonstration of this set in action before purchasing. On the positive side, Amazon.com was amazingly cooperative and helpful in allowing me to return this set and exhange it for a 32" Sony Wega, which I learned the hard way is more than worth the substantially higher cost. Thank you Amazon for such great assistance, understanding, and service.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice set for the foot=print, September 21, 1999

This review is from: Panasonic CT32SF36 32" 'SuperFlat' Flat Screen TV (Electronics)
I purchased one I purchased this set because it had the smallest dimensions I could find for a 32" TV. If Panasonic would move the speakers to the bottom of the set, they could have made this TV a 35" without making the set any larger.
