I haven't had this product long, so I can't testify to it's durability or longevity.

I lost my charger and looked for it for months. Finally I went to Best Buy, where I bought the camera. They sold some third party chargers at around $40 which seemed like a bit of a rip off. This charger was cheap and it does the job.

Nuff said.

TechFuel® Travel Battery Charger for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 Digital Camera is a very good buy. It works as an extra charger that you can keep in your vehicle and be charging one battery
while you are using the other, presuming of course that you have at least 2 batteries. The Charger kit also includes "DC" car adapter.
This ONLY works for your camera's batteries, and not for camcorders, and the charger automatically switches to handle voltage inputs from 100 volts to 240 volts. Great for travel!
It's not as high-quality as the OEM product, but is great to have as a back-up charger, as the TZ5 batteries drain quite rapidly.
