Dust Problems with Panasonic Lumix Cameras??? Has anyone out there heard about this problem? Aug 13, 2011
I checked this problem out prior to purchasing this camera. Found this YouTube video on cleaning the dust off the sensor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_sP4yLf6lA Pretty common problem, easy solution.
I got this camera & a tablet(2 in 1) type device for a round the world trip that doesn't have a CD drive. Do you need the software to upload pics? Jan 11, 2015
I believe it came with a USB cable. That's all I need on my desk top computer to upload pictures. I really do not now about a tablet.
What can be done about spot that shows up in sky and foreheads? Throwing about 20% of pictures because of this. Can't clean off inside. Nov 19, 2013
These cameras quite often accumulate dust on the sensor. You may have to have it cleaned (not really worth it), or attempt it yourself. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nmwt0frZns Looks scary but I've heard it works if the sensor is the problem (and not the lens housing). Aside from that, small spots can be removed from your pictures with a photo editing application like iPhoto, especially if they are in plain areas like the sky.
Upon charging outside the U.S., will this camera auto-convert 110V to 220V, or will I need to use a separate voltage converter? Jun 17, 2014
You have to use a converter
I have a DMC ZZ57. Clam shell lens cover no longer fully opens when powered on nor fully closes when powered off. Why? Feb 17, 2014
Don't know how old your camera is, but this happened to mine a while ago. My camera was quite old. The cost to fix it was prohibitive, so I bought a new camera, with an extended warranty. I looked at Best Buy , Amazon and a number of other places and bought a new on when they had a sale
