Enjoy your favorite flicks in full 1080p resolution and navigate with ease viewing the DMP-B15's brilliant 8.9-inch WSVGA LCD screen.

Play back Blu-ray discs, DVDs, and CDs, whether retail or writeable/re-writeable; enjoy your favorite high-def JPEG photos from disc or SD Card, and even downloaded/ripped DivX content.

SD Memory Card
Like all Panasonic Blu-ray players, the B15 features an SD Memory Card slot that allows the consumer to view and share digital photos, as well as HD video recorded on a SD card.

In addition to its use as a portable player, the consumer can connect it to an HDTV via HDMI cable, and use it as a stand-alone Blu-ray Disc player. The player can also be connected to an HD-Audio compatible AV receiver with a home theater speaker system enabling you to enjoy movies with outstanding surround sound.

PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus
The PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus is a high quality image-processing technology that precisely processes each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc video signal in the vertical direction. It reproduces color data with twice the accuracy of conventional systems, resulting in faithful and sharp colors.

High-Def Audio
Features a high definition audio decoder (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential) to take advantage of the exceptionally high quality 7.1 channel surround sound now integrated in Blu-ray Discs.

VIERA CAST Functionality
This distinctive application gives you access to select web sites, including Amazon Instant Video, a streaming video service that gives the consumer access to more than 50,000 titles; YouTube; Google Picasa Web Album; Bloomberg and a weather channel. VIERA CAST does not require an external set-top box, nor is there a fee for the service. As additional web sites are added to the service, they will automatically appear as an option. Viera Cast and BD-Live features require an internet connection via the unit's LAN port.

I bought this player the day it was released direct from Panasonic. This is a high quality device. Beautiful hi-rez screen, excellent build quality. The hard-wired internet connection allows you to stream youtube videos and view Pacasa slides in hi-rez. You can also playback DIVX rentals or purchased movies that you download on you PC and write to DVD. You can also update the firmware from the WEB.
I have been able to watch movies in the car with the 3 hour battery or the included 12V car adapter. I love the way the screen folds flat against the unit and then able to tilt up or down. All my friends are amazed at the high quality and the bright picture. Way to go Panasonic!!
PS, Panasonic is still trying to get me a date for the availability of the optional 6 HR. Battery.

The quality of this Bluray player is outstanding. It straps to the back of the front car seats, which puts the screen at eye-level. It only accomodates one set of head phones. Two would be better. The price tag right now is very high, but if you want to treat your passengers to a high quality viewing experience, this is a product for you.

I bought this product in October and am thoroughly impressed with its picture clarity and sound clarity. Best of all I can carry my Bluray's along and view it wherever I like. It is expensive but totally worth the buy if its portability you are looking for. Its got a whole host of features which I will test over a period of time. At this point of time I am happy to view my movies in Hi Def anywhere, anyplace anytime!!!
