Doesn't play some discs,

We have several dvd players. All work fine with all dvd's, except for this Panasonic. It will play some dvd's every time, but there are other dvd's that it will never play (and, yes, I do have the correct Region code for the dvd's). Approximately 1/3 of the dvd's I own have this problem. And let me reiterate, these dvd's work fine with all of my other dvd players, even the cheapest ones.This problem with this player is well-known enough that the problem can be found online, but the only proposed solution I've been able to find is to reinsert the dvd 15 or 20 times, and sometimes it will start playing. |
