The Panasonic DVD-A115 five-disc DVD/CD carousel merges 10-bit video processing with a 24-bit audio digital-to-analog converter for vibrant picture quality and rich sound. The Dialogue Enhancer boosts the volume of any Dolby Digital 5.1-channel disc during loud scenes. The Panasonic DVD-A115 also incorporates Advanced Virtual Surround Sound and has a digital audio output for Dolby Digital and DTS decoders, as well as an S-video output.

The quick-start feature allows the picture and audio to begin immediately after loading a disc. High-speed motion scan provides clear scan quality in both forward and reverse and has five variable speeds. If you need to stop a movie for any reason, chapter preview shows the first three seconds of each previously viewed chapter, then proceeds with normal play once it reaches the position where you left off.

The onscreen menu icons work seamlessly with the universal remote control for a number of playback features. You can skip ahead or back to any scene quickly and efficiently, and the DVD-A115's field/frame feature reproduces still images in full detail regardless of source. A parental lock allows parents to monitor what their children are watching, and a headphone jack is included for private viewing.The Panasonic DVD-A115 has a 90-day manufacturer's warranty on parts and labor.

Now this is what you should expect out of a DVD player (and for the price!). Every DVD I've played in this player has been top-notch and only increases any viewing experience you might have. The 5-disc carousel is a blessing for DVD titles such as Fight Club which incorporates 2 dvd's and allows you to go back and forth. Another simply amazing feature included is a dialogue enhancer which allows you to actually enjoy the movie (on your system with a center channel) instead of constantly having to adjust the volume. The scan feature is a plus but for anybody that looking to get the most out of their DVD experience this is a great buy!
