Excellent personal facial groomer and easy to use. Nice clean shave and no, your facial hair does not grow back thicker after you have shaved. Make-up foundations and moisterziers go on so much better and look flawless on. I will never wax or use cream hair remover again.

This Panasonic Facial Groomer is a wonderful product. One that I'm glad I took the chance on.

The groomer has a large blade that bends and pivots to hug the skin closely but not knick or cut! It's great for keeping your eyebrows tidy without having to use scissors. That always makes me nervous around the eyes.

I also use this to keep the line on the back of my son's neck between hair cuts. Which is quite often, but he hates those small hairs that grow back. It's simple to use and easily cleaned.

Great used as a trimmer for the binkini line. Very gentle on sensitive skin. A lot less messy than any of those depilatory creams offered by several companies. They all burn and smell just horrible!

This wonderful groomer comes with two sizes of trimmers to fit on the top for your eyebrows. One 6 to 8 mm and the other is 2 to 4 mm. It even comes with a spare blade!

So to wrap it up, in one simple and easy to use groomer, the Pivoting Head (which many other groomers do not have) follows the contour of the skin for close trimming.

This little trimmer is ideal for women who want to cut down on that fuzzy face look. It is quiet and works well. Now I don't have to sneak my husband's electric razor to keep from looking like a nanny goat.

Well, because this gem is pretty darn fantastic. Yeah, its plastic - and the head is delicate (for women's smaller hands only) when it comes to switching out the blades but BOY is this gentle. No real vibration, a little hum and zip, the facial hair is gone.

I'd read so much about Eplil-whatevers RIPPING the hair out from the roots - no way -I nearly developed red marks and ingrown hairs just thinking about that horrible process. Then stumbled upon this little gizmo (weigh nothings) which is about as small as a large ball-point pen. All those sparkling reviews couldn't be wrong - and they weren't. I'm extremely pleased.

I thought I had so much hair to remove, but no, not really - it took only SECONDS to remove hair I'd suffered for years with previously - boy wish I'd had this when I was a teen. No red marks, no nothing. Just no hair! Its so inexpensive I almost want to buy a basketful and sneak them into the pockets of some women I know who really need to trim up! (wink)

Just kidding - but honestly - buy one. Skip anything harsher or more expensive. Forget the chemicals and long afternoons with the Nad-y stuff...pop it in your purse and you've got your last beauty dilema solved! Whew.

While I bought this product after reading the positive reviews on amazon, I was still a bit apprehensive at the idea of essentially *shaving* my face! Eeeek! It turns out, this is not scary; I did not get five o'clock shadow (horror). I am a young woman but have always had a fuzzy face. Just genetic bad luck. Sometimes, under certain lighting conditions, I would feel like my face was just covered in hairs, and sometimes, they interfered with makeup application. I was bleaching and tweezing sporadically, but it was a quixotic battle. I'm happy to say, this really does the job! It's small and easy to use, and the fuzz is gone. I absolutely recommend it.

And for those seeking a longer term method of hair removal, I've recently discovered that it's pretty easy to learn how to thread your own face; look for videos on youtube. Between threading and the groomer, I no longer feel like a bearded lady!

Being menopausal, I fortunately was spared the hot flashes (at least so far)but not the facial hair. UGH!! I was using razors almost every day until I realized I'd make it easier on myself and get a women's shaver. I went on Amazon, put it in the shopping cart and saw the page of recommended items where I saw this. I read the reviews which were highly favorable so I deleted the shaver and bought this instead. I'm so glad I did. Though a lot of the reviews mention "peach fuzz",but being dark haired, I don't have "peach fuzz", but dark facial hair. This does a great job in removing it. I did notice that if it doesn't seem to be working going one way, use a different direction. Of all my 2008 purchases from Amazon, this is the one I'm the most happy with. Very highly recommended.

I absolutely love this product! I recently started electrolysis treatments to get rid of unwanted hair on my chin and sideburn area (a problem that started after the babies were born, my hormones went out of whack). My electrolysist told me to stop waxing and plucking completely, because, listen up ladies, it is waxing and plucking facial hair that makes it grow back thicker, not shaving! She told me to trim my hair in between treatments to defuzz. Well, this facial trimmer works like a charm. It takes less than half the time it used to to wax my face and trims it so close, the results are better than when I used to wax. Makeup goes on so smoothly, my skin looks like model skin in a magazine (I'm beginning to think they must trim models' faces too.) This product leaves facial skin surface smooth as a baby. No stubble ever. Best of all, there is no more of that post-wax irritation I used to get (hives, bumps, breakouts). My breakouts along the chin area have ceased completely as well, since I'm no longer plucking. My skin looks clean, hair free all within seconds. The tiny attachment even trims inside the nose. Does not irritate the skin at all. You can glide the trimmer directly across your skin, even the skin inside the nose (be gentle though) and it only removes the hair. And when the hair grows back, it is FINE, so fine, I need a magnifying mirror to see the hairs. I highly recommend this product. Just make sure you stock up on AAA batteries, because it does not come with a starter set of batteries. Other than that, awesome! You won't regret this purchase!

This product was exactly what I was looking for. I'm 44 and began getting extra facial hair--I don't mean in one spot. We're talking about the "fuzz" that makes grandma (at least back in the day when I was younger) take on the feel of a slightly furry and soft creature. Not the look I was going for. Since these fine hairs were pretty much everywhere on my face--forehead, cheeks, chin, and upper lip--plucking was out of the question. The expense and time of getting waxed was more than I was prepared to give up for vanity. After a couple of hours of researching various ideas and products, I selected the Panasonic Facial Groomer. It took me a bit to get over the notion that I was about to shave my face! Now I use it about once a month and love it! I go from granny to me in just matter of minutes. Pretty slick :-)

I am a dark skinned indian girl cursed with black, thick facial hair. I bought this to use while I went away to school to keep my eye brows trimmed and my upper lip, chin, and cheek hair free. My mom noticed that on all the areas where I was using this, my skin was starting to develop dark, shadowy spots (similar to a guy after shaving). I stopped using it every where besides trimming my eye brows (careful about over doing it though). The dark spots are taking a LONG time to go away but now I thread and tweeze. Please do note that this is my personal experience and it could just be my skin that had this type of a reaction. It could also be something else entirely.

This trimmer works very well. I recommend it.

What I liked:

1. It cuts well, both the "fuzz" and thicker hairs.
2. It is very discrete. It looks like a pen. I am attaching a couple of photos of the trimmer next to a pen, so you can see for yourself.
3. It is easy to control. By that I mean that that the profile of the tip is small, and you can treat very small areas, such as between your eyebrows.
4. I am using a single rechargeable AAA battery in it. I've been using it for a few weeks before writing this review, and the battery is still going strong.
5. The battery is very easy to replace, the battery door slides nicely.
6. The package includes an extra heads (which allow to trim eyebrows, i.e. they leave hair with a certain length)
7. The package includes a small brush for cleaning the head (you are supposed to clean it dry, not wet)
8. The product feels solid, well designed, and well made.

What I did not like (very minor, stating for completeness of the review)

1. The description mentioned a pouch, but it was not included in the package
I found a cute little bag from jewelry beads which fit the extra heads and the brush to keep them all together.

Ordering refill blades:
The fine hair blade (the long one that is installed when the trimmer arrives) has a part number WES2113P3708.
The cost of the replacement blade is $6.64 plus shipping if you buy it directly from Panasonic web site.
You can find them by searching on the part number. I noticed that other vendors sell the refill for the cost that is almost equal a whole new trimmer on Amazon, so in that case a new trimmer would be a better bet.

A note on price. I noticed that the price on the on this product fluctuates. There is a nice online tool that I use to help catch a good price on Amazon, this tool is called "Online Price Alert". This tool will send you an email when the Amazon item price reaches the target price range that you specify. If you search on "online price alert" in Google it will be come up at the top. I find this tool to be very helpful.
