I was really surprised at the close and smooth shave. It is so good you can use it as your main shaver and not just a travel shaver.

I have been using this shaver for several months. The shaver runs on AA batteries and rechargeable are fine. The closeness of the shave when using shaving cream is very good and does not burn the skin when compared to a razor. Give the shaver a few days to get a smooth close shave.

One note when cleaning: As recommended by Panasonic, clean the cutter blades with water and sanitize with hand soap. In addition, use a wash cloth to completely clean the cutter blades. Works like a charm.

I'm not giving this product five stars because with my tough beard, it takes a few minutes using this razor to shave.

But it does an effective job of shaving my beard's growth. It just takes a while to do so. For that reason, I'm rating it four stars and not five.

But for most men, this product should work as well as any power (electricity, battery, or rechargable) razor out there.

Purchased on amazon for $10 shipping. Provides a surprising good shave. No sideburn attachment. Uses 2AA batteries. Good back up shaver

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that I find the razor less comfortable than a full size Panasonic electric razor,but is was certainly worth $8. It appeared to be brand new, although it was not in any kind of packaging - just the razor, a pouch and directions.

Was pleased with this razor. Bought it for my grandson for Christmas. Didn't arrive by shipping date. Contacted company and they sent one right away. The company was very helpful. Grandson liked the razor.

I travel by motorcycle so space is limited. I dropped and broke my Braun portable razor so I went shopping. I came across this razor and I trust the Panasonic name so I bought it. I wish it was a little smaller but it is a solid product, well made and does an excellent job. I recommend it.

I was looking for a neat little travel shaver that was compact and not too pricy... And, to say the least, I found this one... Panasonic (brand I trust) price (good) reviews (not too shabby) so I went ahead and bought it... It was shipped promptly (from an interesting address in L.A., I went on Google Maps to see the place it was shipped from, down the street a bit was an ambulance with the stretcher out) it worked at first, then the motor started to stick, I figured maybe it's not completely "waterproof" so I let it dry out and sure enough it worked... Skin was irritated and burned (which I understand it takes getting used to) I tried to use it again and motor stuck, I shook it as much as I could, I think I saw the last of it... I'll take it apart and see what's going on, will update my findings, if any... For the price, I'm not really complaining...

This is a really nice, compact shaver! Totally perfect for a quick shave or for 5 o'clock shadow. For the price, I thought it was going to be cheesey, it's definitely not. Small and has weight to it. Solid little shaver. Highly recommended.
