I was pleasantly surprised by and impressed with this Panasonic vibration tooth brush. I've used Philips sonicare brush for a couple years and love how well these style brushes clean the teeth especially the harder to reach areas. I found this Panasonic model to be just as good as the Philips model. I would like to see if there are smaller size brush heads available for this (I assume there are).

The unit is sturdy with an easily accessed on/off switch. You'd be surprised how important that is until you have a mouthful of toothpaste and a wildly vibrating brush in your mouth. It comes with a charging unit which you only need to use really every few weeks if you want and can stash it away in the meantime.

My one small complaint is about the gap between the brush head and the base. All of these toothbrushes have one, but for some reason its a little larger on this one. The manual even acknowledges it. Seems like that could have been designed better as that is where you will get some gunk and buildup. The Philips model fits a little more snugly there.

These toothbrushes aren't cheap, but IMO pretty well worth the money in keeping your teeth clean.

The improvement of using an electric toothbrush as opposed to a manual or even one of the cheaper battery powered toothbrushes is very noticeable. After using the Panasonic electric toothbrush I can't imagine using anything else. I did leave it at home when I went out of town for a long weekend and my teeth did not feel as clean when using a manual brush.

The toothbrush charges up quickly and I do notice when it is getting low on power and needs to be plugged in. I don't keep it plugged in all the time. It definitely feels like it's cleaning my teeth but isn't too strong to be uncomfortable or painful. I do have sensitive gums so this is a definitely plus.

The Panasonic DL80-s Sonic Vibration Toothbrush is a great toothbrush. It charges fast, lasts a long time between charges (more than 30 minutes, so something like 10 days if you brush twice a day), really cleans your teeth (especially plaque buildup), doesn't tear your gums apart, and is easy to clean. This toothbrush offers approx 26,000 brush strokes per minute without overvibration (it's easy to tolerate and doesn't overdo it) and it is easy on the gums (no bleeding or pain). Honestly, every time I brush with this toothbrush, I feel like I've been to the dentist on a good day.

The brush fits well in the hand, cleans like a breeze, and sits nicely and unobtrusively in the charging stand. It is easy to wash and keep clean and comes with a tripe-edged brush good for cleaning the surface of the teeth and between teeth. I really do like this toothbrush--there is not much to complain about. The brush is sturdy, but thus far I have not been able to locate a replacement brush--my best guess is it will cost something like $30 for 2 brushes. Not bad if my initial experience is any estimation of how long the brush will last. Certainly recommended!

I like this product. 4 stars because there's no option not to buy the women's color scheme for this product as currently advertised. This irked me immensely because I feel like the only way to make it look like a mans toothbrush (as if an electric toothbrush could look manly) is to buy the blue brush.

I have never before used an electric toothbrush. But, my daughter, mother, and friend all had one, and swore they were great. So, when I got the chance to try this one out, I gave it a shot.

The first time I used it, I almost packed it in. The rapidly oscilating brush (this is the "back and forth" type of electric brush--apparently there are also "round and round" brushes) tickled the roof of my mouth so that it felt really uncomfortable brushing the insides of my upper teeth. But, I read the package insert, which warned that some bleeding might occur the first couple of times using the brush, because your gums aren't used to stimulation. Well, I never had any bleeding, but the tickling felt like it might be the same thing. The insert said try it for a couple of days and it should go away--so I percevered, and they are right, it disappeared entirely.

Having now used this brush for over a month, I have to admit everyone was right. My teeth really do feel lots cleaner--almost that smooth, clean sensation I used to get only after going to the dentist.

Easy to use. No weird bells and whistles (I guess some brushes include a timer to tell you when to switch sides? Sounds silly). And feels great.

The only downside is money. The brush itself is much more expensive than a regular toothbrush, but the replacement brushes are outrageously expensive. But, if having super clean feeling teeth is something you care about, and you can afford the extra expense, then I think you'll be glad you got one of these.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
This is a good little sonic brush. It is indeed "sonic" action, with an extremely quick vibrating action rather than some other products' slower mechanical cleaning action- many similarly priced units use the mechanical action, which makes this an attractive option.

Like most cheaper sonic options however, this Panasonic is quite rough. This is warranted, because the brush gives a fantastic cleaning, but you can see how the cost stays low in the vibration that goes through your head. It took me a few uses until I could apply this brush without getting tears in my eyes, although I did adjust quickly. People with sensitive teeth and gums will likely find that this is a brutal breaking-in period, and it's kept my wife on regular brushes. For the price however, this is milder than some. On a "motorized bush pain scale" I'd give this a 4/5, and it generally takes quite a bit of money to lower that rating (while still getting this level of cleaning). For the price, I'd call this brush above average.

Otherwise, the induction charging base is neat, heads change easily with space to hold spares, and the base is compact but study. Quality product.
