I can have very high blood pressure readings and have to monitor them frequently. Over the years I have tried many types of cuffs but this is my favorite one. I have finally put away my Omrons to use this Panasonic exclusively. It is not only the accuracy, speed and convenience that I like but also the fact that it never errors out - no matter how high or low my readings, I always get a result even in the winter with long sleeves. Instead of the usual wrap around cuff, you insert your arm in the tube (like the ones in the drugstore). True, it is a bit bulky and not as easy for travel, but convenience and accuracy make up for that. Before I got this cuff, taking my blood pressure could be a struggle that would raise my blood pressure! Now it is a piece of cake.

I found this to be what I was looking for. All I have to do is stick my arm in the sleeve and it does the rest. Easy er than the others on the market. The price was great with the rebate. I am glad I bought it. I think I may have sold a few since everyone I meet I tell how eases it is to use.

Having returned 2 other blood pressure monitors , I decided to get this one as I was getting accurate readings on the stiff cuffs models in the grocery stores and at work. This product is very accurate and easy to use. Two nice features of the Panasonic EW3153W are wireless display remote and movable support for elbow during inflation and deflation without which you get hand movement which can skew the readings.

Recommended buy, don't waste your money on anything else!

So I'm 32 and already having potential high blood pressure. Scary stuff. My doctor recommended I check my BP frequently, so I wanted to get the best home monitoring system on the market. After exhaustive research, I settled on this Panasonic unit. In short, it's highly accurate and a pleasure to use. Just insert your arm, press the button and seconds later you have accurate BP and heart rate readings. Can't ask for more.

One thing to be aware of (as others have mentioned) is it's HUGE. Well not ginormous, but the unit is about the size of a motorcycle helmet. Definitely intended to be a home unit. When the box arrived, I was certain Amazon shipped me the wrong item. Once opened, I was shocked at the size. Again, no big deal, but it did surprise me. I'm ok with the heft as long as its accurate (which it is).

There are cheaper alternatives out there, but ask yourself it your health is worth saving a buck...I know mine isn't.

I have been an RN for over 20 years now, and I am often asked by patients what is the best Blood pressure machine for home? My father, and mother in law, and myself all have high blood pressure and are on medication for this. I have purchased one of these machines for all 3 of our families. I had tried a couple other ones, but found them to be in accurate and at times difficult to use. This machine is simple to use. It is very accurate. I have tested it many times with our high tech blood pressure machines at the hospital. The fact that it can store a history of your blood pressures is so valuable. Take it with you to your doctors appointments and it helps your practitioner to know how to better manage your hypertension. Love this machine.

Very easy unit to use, just insert your arm and press the start button on the remote. Simple to use and accurate! You can also take the remote to the doctor so he can review the last 90 readings, it memorizes them, including date and time, very slick. I would highly recommend this unit.

I have high regard for the Panasonic brand, and have been happy with many products of theirs -- various TVs, phones, exhaust fans, microwaves, etc. Naturally, I expected this unit to be top-notch.

The features and form factor are nice. It's very convenient to have this device ready to use at all times, instead of having to wrap cuff around arm every time. The wireless display and detailed memory are nice touches too.

However, I never was able to get accurate readings, off by anywhere from 15 to 30 points compared to Doctor's office. My Omrons with folding cuff are within 5 points. I checked product manual -- my arm size is well within acceptable range for this unit. Also tried placing unit on a variety of surfaces, tables at different heights etc. After trying for hours, still couldn't get solid readings (it takes time to experiment, one has to wait several minutes between readings to get accurate results).

Maybe I had a bad unit, or it would have worked better if I had used it in some different way. Two stars for the excellent ergonomics.

I purchased this monitor for my wife, but I've also tried it myself. Both of us find it easy to use. It is a solidly built machine and comes with good instructions.

I am as lazy as they come when it comes to doing anything health related, and I have to it regularly. So, the thought of wrapping a strap onto my arm to take my blood pressure just turns me off. Even worse is some reviews even say that they had to do it several times before they can get a good reading. This device, however, is simple to use, and it always give me a good reading every time I use it. The numbers may not be good, but that's something I need to fix myself :-)

If I had to say one bad thing about it is its bulky size. But, I wouldn't need to take it with me on trips, so it's not an issue for me.

Easy to use. Uncomplicated. I do not have high BP however do have "white coat syndrome" when at a medical facility.
Now I can demonstrate to Drs that my BP is normal with at home record keeping.
