This battery is an excellent replacement for the type "C" battery that shipped with the drill. It is a third again larger and slightly heavier than the original (which some may consider a disadvantage) but provides more torque and longer run time. Highly recommended

My Panasonic drill was been a workhorse in the shop for years - finally the batteries stopped holding a charge. I found this replacement and it works great. Charges in the same charger and makes the drill almost like new - much less expensive then buying a whole new tool.
