Model EY9210B is a replacement battery for the Panasonic 24 volt rotary hammer EY6812NQKW. It must be charged with charger EY0214B. This is the longest running 24 volt battery availible, it is a 3.0 AMP Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-Mh). Ni-Mh is environmentally freindly and does not need to be recycled.

I don't see how throwing this battery into a landfill is more environmentally friendly than recycling it! (refer to manufacturer's hype).
