Battery powered hammer-drills are usually underpowered for their purposes. I bought this combo because it was a cheaper way to get an extra battery for the saw. Getting the drill body was just a bonus. The saw was an obvious return to the seller from somewhere. The blade (not damaged) had been run thru some drywall. The blade guard just swung freely from it's axis. And the arbor wrench (4mm allen) was missing from the handle. No one wants to see this situation when they've purchased "new", expecially at these prices. I thought the spring was missing, but it was actually disconnected from the guard. And I found an extra 4mm allen wrench in my stash from some foreign furniture assembly project, and it fit nicely into the handle. Panasonic, in my opinion, makes the best battery powered tools on the market. This set is no exception as the saw has exceptional power and battery runtime. And all functions work as expected. BUT the sellers need to at least inspect their inventory BEFORE they deliver to the buying public.
