5.0 out of 5 stars Panasonic KX-TG4323B 5.8 GHz Cordless expandable phone
This phone has been working well for us. Reception is very good and the features are easy to use. The speaker phone is clear and I am easily understood by others on the other end of the line. I would recommend this phone for those looking for an expandable phone without tons of confusing features.

versus
2.0 out of 5 stars Horrible Sound
Everything about the phone was excellent, I loved it.... until I talked on it. The sound quality was horrible. It seemed like my own voiced echoed up into the speaker, sort of like a feedback. Its possible I got a defective phone, but I HIGHLY doubt that. I honestly thought this phone was going to be great when I first bought, I was sad when it turned out bad.

The sound quality is great, even with the base upstairs and the extension in the basement. Having an intercom system is great. Hearing the callers announced is great. Being able to override the caller ID with my own identification so it says "Dad" or announces callers by name is great. My whole family loves this phone system.

I've purchased many brands of portable phones in the past, all of which were replaced for one problem or another after a short amount of time.I found these phones to be great in every respect, and problem-free.They have just about every feature you could ever possibly want, and then some. All in all,I'm extremely satisfied.

We don't have a lot of requirements when it comes to home phones other than we need multiple phones to spread around the house. There was almost zero setup required for these phones. Unbox them, charge them, and you're good to go. The voicemail feature is one of the easiest I've ever had to program and the sound quality of the phones are great. Very highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a phone that works good and doesn't die!, August 30, 2008

I have a store and an office and i go through phones like i do pens. I've tried Vtech, Uniden, Sony, Motorola, but never panasonic. But i'm glad i did this time, for the price, these phones are great!

I like the features they come with, and the phone book is pretty big, still haven't run out of room!

My only problem with the phones is that they don't have a back lit display, so at night it's hard to see what keys i'm punching.

but otherwise i'm super happy with these phones!

This 'system' works very well. One of my main concerns was range. I use one handset as a shop phone so my wife can use the intercom to talk to me. The shop is separate from the house and a pretty good distance from the base. Works just fine. The handsets are small!

5.0 out of 5 stars Panasonic 5.8 phones, December 28, 2008
This review is from: Panasonic 5.8Ghz Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System - 3 Handset System (KX-TG4323B) (Office Product)
Excellent, just excellent. Had uniden phones before with interference at the computer and sound was never real clear. With the Panasonic, there is no interference and the sound is crystal clear. Am really pleased with the purchase. I have the base unit and a handset downstairs and 1 handset upstairs in my office next to numerous electronic devices with no problem.

Only thing I'd change on the phone is to make it less smooth to the touch. It can slip out of the hand simply because of it's small size.

You won't be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Need better batteries, otherwise 5 stars, December 9, 2008

These work great for a while, but the supplied rechargeable batteries are pretty wimpy. I use the main handset for long conference calls and after a few months the batteries couldn't hold out for more than 15 minutes and then the phone would shut off. I thought the handset was defective but replaced the supplied batteries with name-brand (Sony) rechargeable batteries and everything's fine again. Each handset uses two AAA batteries; fortunately I went to all-rechargeables a couple of years ago so I had plenty of spares to use as replacements.
