I bought the unit with two handsets. In fact, I bought TWO units with two handsets, since this doesn't come in a two line phone. In the brief test I did, they don't seem to interfere with each other. The range is really good, too. When you get too far (like across the street), the voice starts to break up, and you can move back to complete the conversation. Has all the usual pluses that Panasonic phones have, so I will not cover everything in detail. The handset speakerphone, while good, could be a bit louder. But I could say the same about all other cordless phones. The base speakerphone is loud enough. The answering machine has a blinking red light to indicate messages, this should be a number to show how many messages you have. Took me a while to figure out that the redial button is the same one marked PAUSE. Most of the other buttons and functions are pretty straightforward, though. The yellow LED on top of the phone is too bright when trying to sleep at night, I covered it with black electrical tape (black magic marker was not enough). On the second handset, it blinks to let you know you have messages. Last thing, I called Panasonic customer service to see if two of these phones used at the same time would interfere with each other, and the rep was clueless. I should have asked for next level of support, or her supervisor.

I am extremely pleased with the Panasonic DECT phones. Range and voice clarity is excellent. Very easy to setup and operate. Some important features: (1) Ability to block unwanted calls, (2) Does not cook batteries while sitting in charger, (3) Uses standard size batteries (AAA NiMH), (4) Excellent speakerphone in each handset, and (5) Talking Caller ID announces who is calling. (Plus many more features)

I purchased this phone to replace a Uniden I mistakenly purchased. Prior to this phone I was limited on where I could use the phone. I have a small house but anything more than two rooms away from the base unit and I lost the call. This unit is clear all the way to the back of the lot and possibly beyond. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Only had this for a short while and I'm happy. I wish the phone had a button to send a call right to the answering machine if it someone you don't want to talk to. The plastic around the ear piece near the speaker is sharp. I was surprised, thought it was a manufacturing defect, but both my handset are the same.

Operation is pretty straight forward, although I've owned only Panasonic cordless phones. Phone was a little smaller than I expected, but the size isn't too bad.

So far the range seems to be pretty good, on par with my 2.4GHz it replaced, but this phone isn't affected by the microwave like the 2.4GHz was.

I have always preferred Panasonic phones and had a much older model with talking CI. The hand set and the answer machine on that one had seen better days and was beginning to show wear and tear. I decided to replace it but I wanted talking CI again. I though that this model was attractive but it was not available in 2.4ghz (I find there is too much interference with the 5.8mgz range phones) I decided to give Dect 6.0 a try. I am very happy that I did. The phone is not only attractive,it has excellent voice quality (clear as Cristal), it very light, the screen (white back light) makes it very easy to read, talk time so far is quite good. It is also very comfortable on the ear and face (nice and smooth). Over all Panasonic has not disappointed me. I purchased from amazon and as usual they delivered quickly. I highly recommend this phone.

This Panasonic phone is very easy to use and setup ,the speakerphone is of excellent quality (very clear voice ).I had Motorola before and the quality was very low.

I got this product from Amazon. I'm frequent buyer of Amazon. This is one product which I felt cheated from Amazon as the product packing looked liked used one. I had ordered new, however the product where not pack sealed. So it looked like Amazon shipped the used or returned product.

Also the battery for this phone dies pretty soon. You hardly talk for some time and it is on the last level suggesting to recharge. I guess the battery does not last more than 2 or 3 hours talking without speaker.

The rest of the features are good. Searching of the phone numbers works, however, at times it does not have to scroll thru all the names. I dont know if this is a bug or feature.

My previous panasonic was very nice phone. I had to switch becos of 2.4 GHz frequency.

At first, I was confused that these phones worked like cell phones, but once I got over that, it's great! I had no idea that's how they worked, so I think the product description ought to include more about that feature. On their screens, just like cell phones, these handsets show the time, show how long a call lasted, etc. One negative aspect of being like a cell phone is that I find it more than a bit annoying to use the contact list rather than just hitting a memory button and location as on a traditional phone, so, as a result, I just dial my frequently-called numbers. Real cell phones have speed dial, while these don't (or I haven't figured out how to do it?) Another negative is that the handsets, like cell phones, are too small to cradle between ear and shoulder, and so narrow my fingernails dig into my cheek when I hold the phone. But despite those negatives, the phone is great. I bought this phone because it was possible to turn off the ringer on the handsets - I keep the handsets on Night Mode all the time. It would be a huge nuisance to turn the ringers on and off, going through multiple hard-to-memorize steps, but I never want the handsets to ring, so that's fine. I love it that the handsets tell you when to charge them - it's so much better than having them die during a call!

I've had this phone for a month and after the first few days of getting accustomed to 'dial first then press talk' and other cell-phone-like differences, I've been happy ever since. My advice - read and re-read the instructions! Then read them again. The handsets don't work like any landline phone you've ever used before, but they're good once you figure them out. Pity my poor houseguests, however!

I bought this to replace an old Panasonic wireless. The new phones are smaller, more like the size of a cell phone. The speaker phone feature works well and I use it all the time. The range is excellent with clear audio at least 75 feet from the base station. The answering machine works fine and you have the option of reviewing messages remotely from the handsets. Overall, an excellent product.

I really like this phone because of the quality and ease of use. You can get started using all the great features right away too. The only trouble is that it is a little small to hold between your cheek and shoulder if you need two hands for something. Otherwise it is the best phone I ever had. I like the Panasonic brand because they perform so well and last a long time. I also like that you can access the answering machine from the second unit. Lots of great features and quality for the price.
