This review is from: Panasonic 5.8GHz FHSS GigaRange Expandable System Cordless Handset (Office Product)
This is a great phone system. Very clear, excellent range from home base. Easy to use directory with room for many, many friends and family.
For those with some hearing loss, the volume adjustment is easy. And it holds it's place, so that you don't have to adjust the volume the next time you use the phone, unlike some others we considered. This set included three phones. Liked it so much we purchased an additional remote phone to take it up to its full four-instrument capacity. The 5.8 GHz does not interfere with our wi-fi (wireless local internet) computer set up. On the other hand, 2.4 GHz phones are likely to conflict, so don't buy 2.4 (or lower) if you use wi-fi on your premises.

We have three of these phones. They feel nice in your hand and work for years. We actually ordered this one from the used category because it's out of production and we wanted another identical handset.

I purchased 3 additional handsets for my original 2-handset phone. Why didn't I think of this before? The additional handsets were a snap to set up, and they work perfectly. This phone doesn't have the greatest range, but it works well for the size of my city townhouse and reception is always excellent. My one compaint about the system is that you've got to program speed dials individually into each handset. There has just got to be a way to avoid that, and when I'm ready to upgrade that's what I'll look for.
