I am a school teacher and I purchased this sharpener for my classroom. It didn't work for very long. I eventually had to throw it away. I was very unhappy with this product.

We bought this pencil sharpener for our art center. It lasted about a year before it died. We paid $40 for it, expecting that it would last a long time. But it seems to last just as long as the cheaper ones. At the beginning, it worked really well. Maybe if you aren't putting as many miles on it as we are, it will last longer.
