I wanted four handsets, so I could place them strategically around the house. For the price, this one can't be beat.

Voice quality is great, the only place in the house where I have some interference is within 3ft of my wireless router. Changing the router channel helped.

It has all the usual features, intercom, answering machine, caller ID etc. etc. Nothing special, handset quantity make it stand out

I've had panasonic phones for years, and they have always perform well for me. My only reason in replacing my old phone was to upgrade to a four extensions vs. my old two. In fact I gave my sister my old phone, and it is working for her as we speak. I use VoIP, and this system works well, I get reception all over my house (over 2000 ft) even with the base tucked in the corner office, and I can walk into the back yard with no issues. I use a simple cheap headset, and my calls are quiet clear. I do miss the belt clip while walking around, but these hand sets are smaller than my old one, so it's not really an issue. For the price, great deal, this will last a long time.

My house is built on 3 levels so it is a must to have a phone close by. I spend my time down
stairs where my big screen, is and my wife is usually in the great room or our bedroom. These locations have a phone and we have one upstairs for guest. It is also nice having an intercom mode for those times that running up and down stairs can be avoided. Great phone system.

This unit doesn't work anymore after 2.5 years of usage. It wouldn't disconnect. Nothing lasts forever but it should've lasted more than 2.5 years... not so good.

I had high hopes for this phone, but it is terribly disappointing. It gets spotty reception even in the house when not in the same room as the base unit, and it is all but unusable in the yard. I have moved the base to several different locations in the house and done everything they recommend, but no change.
