i am happy with the phone except for one area.the caller id keeps repeating the same number every time that person calls and it does not hold many numbers at all.i also never received the instruction booklet and had to pay 11.00 through panasonic to get one.

I've been having problems getting the caller ID to work correctly. I had to call panasonics help line and they walked my thru this process of going to menus and then unplugging the power and replugging in the power. It's a pain.

The phone is clear, however, on the color LCD screen there's a solid blue line running left to right. I can't imagine that being part of the screen.

This is the second Panasonic phone I've purchased. The quality is excellent. Like most digital answering systems, you can not fast forward or rewind the message; you can only skip or replay from the beginning, so if someone is long winded, you are forced to listen to it.

Although the unit is wall mountable, only the second handset can be with what is shipped. To mount the main unit to the wall, you must purchase the mount from a Panasonic parts vendor.

The Panasonic TG5777BP is a great value and packed with features. This phone has features normally found in expensive cell phones; color LCD display, speaker phone, custom ring-tones and wallpaper, phonebook, vocal caller ID, voice-mail notification... just to name a few. The phones are well designed and don't have that cheap look and feel that is all to common with today's electronics. This product is one of the best values I've found recently.

This phone has got amazing features at a reasonable price. I purchased it for $109 including tax. I am using this phone for more than a month. The best feature which i liked is the talking caller id. Once i get a call, it start announcing the name of the person on which the phone is registered.
This phone doesn't look very great. It's ok phone as look wise. The only problem with this phone is when i get a call even i receive the call some times it shows it as a missed call.

I see one problem in this set i.e. we can't see outgoing calls.

Does as little or as much as you want it to do in a pretty and easy to use package.

My previous 900 MHz cordless phone wouldn't interfere with my DSL internet connection. But, this new 5.8 GHz phone causes a 30-60 seconds pause in the Internet connection upon picking up the phone. This happens again once I hang up. But, after around 30-60 seconds, the Internet connection restarts. It is not an interference with my wireless Linksys router, because the wireless LAN continues to connect perfectly. Only the DSL internet connection fails.
This has been a significant inconvenience.
