I bought this for my Panasonic KX-TG6582T DECT 6.0 PLUS Link-to-Cell Bluetooth Convergence Solution as an additional handset. I got it as an alternative to the 651-B, despite not getting a lot of information either here or from Panasonic as to whether it would actually work. Works great.

We've been using this phone for about a week now. Its range works well from one end to the other of my 2000 sq ft, 1 story house. Calls are clear. Multiple ring tones and melodies are available. Talking Caller ID works, although the it does mispronounce some names. For example, Michelle sounds like Mitchell. There is a 7 hour charge time from opening the box and first use. Menu was intuitive to me, as far as phone menus are concerned. The phones can be named as well as numbered. My number 1 handset is also called Office. There are not enough places to fit the name Family Room, I could only get Family Roo. Easy fix was using Family Rm. No real complaints about the phone though. Very happy with it so far.

I added this phone to my system of 4 so that I can have one in the laundry room and I'm glad I did. With a two-story house, you can't have too many phones. I'm very happy with it. I love that you can program many numbers, it has a speaker option (GREAT for when you're on hold), it's very easy to set up and use, and it even has a little belt clip in case you need to have your hands freed up. If you buy the whole system of several phones, it has a great feature called "intercom" whereby you can page the other phones! I think this really sets it apart from other phones. I use it more than I thought I would. If I'm working and I'm yelling to the kids downstairs but they can't hear me, I hit the intercom and it beeps until they pick up, and then we can talk through the phones. One time I was very ill and it also worked great for getting the attention of someone downstairs. The kids think it's great fun, too!
