Designed for use with the DECT 6.0 KX-TG8231/8232 series telephone systems, this Panasonic KX-TG820B DECT 6.0 Cordless Handset comes ready for use with its own cradle and power supply. In addition to its DECT 6.0 capabilities (meaning this handset will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens, and other common household devices), this handset lets you assign an LCD color to your phonebook data. The LCD will flash a color of your choosing for each phonebook name and number when the corresponding Caller ID information is received from an incoming call. Other great features include call waiting (if supported by carrier), caller ID, a digital speaker phone , and an integrated battery worth 17 hours of talk time.

This phone is very small, and looks great in any room. However, it is so small, that I find that my old phone was more comfortable to talk on.
The range of this phone is great, and sound quality blows my 5.8GHz panasonic phone away.

The backlit keys are great for bedroom use, when you don't want to turn on the light to make a phone call. The phone works with any of the Panasonic DECT6.0 phone systems, my base is a 1034S.

I bought this set and the additional single phone.
It was easy to set up and the menu's easy to use.
The reception is wonderful, and it's all around computer equiptment and the microwave doesn't bother it at all.

I'm very happy with it, I'm sure you will be too.

I LOVE this phone! I've had all the other manufacturers phones, trying to find one that would work with my wifi system without interference. This phone is very clear, no static or dead areas. I've asked people I've called how is the quality of the sound from my end and they have answered that it sounds like I'm on a corded phone, even when I'm using the speaker phone! It may not have all the bells & whistles that some people want from a phone, but for me the most important feature of a phone is that it transmits and receives the signal completely clearly. I also like the option to screen calls on any of the handsets. I don't have caller ID and screen my calls, this feature is great! I love this phone so much that I bought five additional handsets to complete my home phone system. I could not be happier!
