Do NOT buy this phone, November 27, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Panasonic KXTC1891 900 MHz DSS 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID & Answering Device (Black) (Office Product)
After doing extensive research, I settled on this phone and am truly sorry that I did. Everyone I speak to asks if I have them on speaker phone, the answering machine is cumbersome to operate, and reception is spotty if I walk into the next room (which defeats the fact that this is a cordless phone!). Do yourself a favor - don't get this product. I am never again going to buy panasonic. When will someone make a good cordless/answering machine??

good features, poor audio quality, November 23, 2001
This review is from: Panasonic KXTC1891 900 MHz DSS 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID & Answering Device (Black) (Office Product)
This is a very good, full featured phone. However, if you haven't used a digital recorder before, you should listen to one before buying. There's a lot of static and the sound sometimes breaks up if the caller isn't speaking very loudly. This can make it hard to understand messages.

Made a mistake sticking with the usually reliable Panasonic brand. 1) Handset broke within 1 year 2) Dropped signal walking to the next room 3) Awkward controls for answering machine
