A must for any women who shaves,

I actually bought this at a department store and I can't believe I went all this time with out it. It works the best around the bikini area and leaves no irritation. This is a great gift for someone, or YOURSELF!

why are women's shavers still ages behind men's?,
By A Customer

As with the case of many regular razors, the male model always hits the shelves first; once the female version comes around it's often the same product in pink with an aloe strip, or in some cases far inferior. Such is the same of many women's electric shavers. From what I can tell, most lack the power and sharpness their male counterparts have. I bought this shaver a few months ago from drugstore.com for $34.99, and have been much disappointed. Pros: Decent price. It holds a charge for a respectable period of time, and works in the shower or tub. Cons: It's very slow with its less-than-sharp blades! You have to go over an area many times to get it right, although doing so doesn't result in any ill effects other than lost time. Its size is also not suited for the bikini area. All in all, as it was my first electric shaver, perhaps my expectations were too high. I'll stick to borrowing my boyfriend's electric razor when he's not looking.

Best Electric Shaver I've Found!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ladies Shaver (Health and Beauty)
I've tried a million of these things, and believe me, this is the best. It recharges in no time, is simple to clean, and gives a VERY close shave -- it's not as close as a regular razor, of course, but it's the next best thing! If I use this and then slap some lotion on my legs, you'd never know I didn't use a real razor. It's also PERFECT for those last-minute underarm shaves (you know, when you're excited about wearing a sleevless shirt but whoooops, you've let your underarms go a few too many days without a shave!). No more awkward hang-over-the-sink acrobatics for a quick cleanup!

Convenient and non-irritating,

After reading the reviews i bought this shaver from a local Target, and I love it! i was looking for a less irritating way to shave my bikini area, because i always got terrible razor burn from using regular razors, and this shaver works great. it doesn't shave as close, of course, but that is why it's less irritating. and your legs will still LOOK nice and smooth, even if they dont FEEL quite as smooth. to get the closest shave, shave slowly, and use the bikini extension when needed. i hadn't even planned on using it on my legs but i do all the time now just because it is so convenient. if i am going out somewhere but neglected to shave in the shower that morning, i can just pick up my shaver and shave my legs dry with no hassle and no irritation, and they will look great. i even shaved my legs in my boyfriend's car on the way to church last sunday! i recommend this product. you can use it anytime- it's fast, convenient and gentle.

Not what i expected,

i ordered this based off the reviews here on amazon. it does not in any way shave close or smooth in the bikini area.. great for under arms and legs are ok .. but this i would NOT tell people to use for the bikini area. I'll stick to my good ol razor and just double up on the diaper rash cream to stop razor bumps. works like a charm

Who knew it would work so well?,

I can't believe I went so many years shaving the regular way. I have very course hair on my legs, and have tried every form of hair removal from Epilady and waxing to cream removers to regular shaving. I will never use anything except this electric shaver again! It offers a truly close shave with virtually no irritation, bumps or razer burn. After four or five shaves, my skin was used to it -- something I always thought was a myth. The more you use it, the closer shave you get. It's so easy to have smooth legs every day now that I have found this hassle free machine. I wish I could give it six stars.

It's a terrible razor, unless you know how to use it,

When I first got this razor, I was disappointed. It didn't work very well, and I stopped using it, except to trim my bikini area. But then I discovered how to use it.
It works the best if the hair is longer. Sit in a well lit area, natural light is best, and slowly glide the shaver against your leg. Make sure that it is tilted at about a forty degree angle so that the first set of blades can cut the hair. My legs have never been smooth using that razor until I discovered this. Now they are as clean shaven as if I had used a regualr razor and shaving cream. Caution: don't shave arm pits with it. This skin beneath there is delicate and gets snagged and cut. I have been using that razor for 8 years now and it finally died on me. I did endup using it on my arm pits. It works really well on them if you use the shaver not the trimmer which is what cut me. When it's starting to go out it won't keep a charge and the blades become so dull they just snag your hair instead of cutting it. I would reccomend anyone who has trouble with razor burn, like me, should by this razor. It is well worth the money.

Big Disappointment,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ladies Shaver (Health and Beauty)
I purchased this product after reading other people's reviews on this site. I was very disappointed, mainly because it did not shave close AT ALL. I felt like I needed to go over each area several times and it still did not shave close. And, I am not even hairy at all. I am going back to disposable razors!! I would return this, if I could. Don't waste your $$$$!

the key to it,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ladies Shaver (Health and Beauty)
I got this shaver because I liked the idea of shaving dry. At first, I thought it was a total rip off because it didn't give you the close shave you get with wet razors, and I was having to go over the same spot a hundred times. Then I realized maybe it wasn't the shaver that was defective, maybe I was doing something wrong. The key to it is shaving very SLOWLY and holding it losely on your skin (not going fast and pushing hard like I was doing at first). I love this shaver now that I know how to use it!
